Junior National Championship contenders should contact IMCA for 2020 licenses, minor release form

Kupper continues IMCA Dakota Classic Tour sponsorship with new name

MANDAN, N.D. – Bob Kupper has sold his Chevrolet dealership but don’t think he’s not involved in the IMCA Dakota Classic Tour title Sponsorship. VINTON, Iowa – Ten dates are on the schedule for the upcoming Dirt Knights IMCA Modified Tour. Opening night is Thursday, May 7 at Marshalltown Speedway, with events following Wednesday, May 20 at Stuart Speedway; Monday, May 25 at Benton County Speedway in Vinton; Monday, July 20 at Park Jefferson Speedway in Jefferson, S.D.; Tuesday, July 21 at Jackson, Minn., Motorplex; Wednesday, July 22 at Buena Vista Raceway in Alta; Tuesday, July 28 at Hancock County Speedway in Britt; Monday, Aug. 3 at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer; Wednesday, Aug. 5 at Fairmont, Minn., Raceway; and Thursday, Aug. 6 at Kossuth County Speedway in Algona. All events in the 11th annual tour will be qualifiers for 2020 or 2021 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballots.

Winnemucca fans will have local IMCA Stock Car favorites to cheer for

WINNEMUCCA, Nev. – Fans at Winnemucca Regional Raceway will have local drivers to cheer for when IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars take the green flag during regular programs this season. Sanctioned Stock Cars join IMCA Modifieds on 11 Friday, Saturday and Sunday night cards at the Nevada oval. New IMCA sanctions make history at Lafayette County Speedway

DARLINGTON, Wis. – A southwest Wisconsin speedplant with nearly seven decades of racing history adds three IMCA divisions to regular weekly shows this season. Lafayette County Speedway at Darlington sanctions the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods beginning in 2020. Twelve Friday programs are scheduled during the IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing season, from April 24 to Aug. 14. “IMCA is very well respected in the racing industry and a lot of our drivers already race IMCA,” explained Media Director Kari Ruf. “We’ve been getting good car counts and our rules were similar to IMCA’s. We decided sanctioning was the good way for us to go.” Both Modified and Northern SportMod fields are expected to be well represented by drivers from the tri-state area also including Illinois and Iowa.
