Tri-State reschedules Kegger, IMCA Modifieds chase $1,500 top check 

POCOLA, Okla. (March 27) – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,500 to win this weekend, at Tri-State Speedway’s rescheduled Cecil Harlan Memorial Kegger. Practice is from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, March 30. Qualifying begins Friday, March 31 with last-chance races and the feature on Saturday, April 1. The 2017 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier pays a minimum of $200 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Jet Racing Central Region and Allstar State points, but no local track points, will be awarded. Menasco Racing Enterprises gives a $500 bonus to the driver making the long tow. Entry fee is $100. Pit gates open at 4 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. and racing follows 6:30 p.m. hot laps both days. MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Marshalltown Speedway opens with one of the highest paying events of the season for IMCA Modifieds, the $10,000 to win March 30-April 1 World Nationals. The 11th annual World Nationals is IMCA sanctioned and open to Modified competitors using claim or crate engine options. The minimum $500 to start feature is a qualifying event for the 2017 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $1,000 to win while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks race for $500 to win both Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1. 34 Raceway rolls out red carpet for April 1 Deery Series opener

WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa – The track that hosted the first Deery Brothers Summer Series event rolls out the red carpet for the first IMCA Late Model tour event of the season next Satur­day, April 1. The Deery Series returns to 34 Raceway for a $2,000 to win, minimum $300 to start opening night feature. Forty-eight previous events have been held at West Burlington, more than at any other track, in the tour’s 30-year history. United Rebel Sprint Series has 14 dates in four states 

OBERLIN, Kan. – The United Rebel Sprint Series will begin its 12th season of 305 Sprint Car Rac­ing featuring events in the four states, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Colorado in 2017. The Myers Racing Engines National tour will feature fourteen stops in all four states and will bring rac­ers together under the IMCA RaceSaver banner for the second season. The national points season kicks off April 1 with an appearance at Longdale, Okla., Speedway. The race features a $1,000 to win, minimum $250 to start purse. BATESVILLE, Ark. – A pair of $1,250 to win features for IMCA Modifieds are on the card for the Friday and Saturday, March 17 and 18 Arkansas Spring Nationals at Batesville Motor Speedway. Both Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot-qualifying events pay $1,000 to the runner-up.
