Southern Oklahoma adjusts Stampede schedule

ARDMORE, Okla. – With wet weather moving into the area Saturday, Southern Oklahoma Speedway will host Southern Stampede shows Thursday and Friday, March 11 and 12.      Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying features now see IMCA Modifieds run for $3,000 to win and $300 to start on Thurs­day and $1,000 to win and $100 to start on Friday. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products South­ern SportMods both run for $1,750 to win and $175 to start on Thursday and $750 to win and $75 to start on Fri­day.  With a 70-plus chance of an inch of rain in the forecast, Saturday’s program has been canceled.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing Na­tional and KMJ Performance Oklahoma State points will be awarded in all three divi­sions both nights. Texas 305 RaceSaver Sprint Nationals set this weekend at Devil’s Bowl

MESQUITE, Texas – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars race for shares of a Lone Star State-sized purse at this weekend’s Texas 305 RaceSaver Sprint Nationals.  The Friday, March 12 main event at Devil’s Bowl Speedway pays $1,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start while the Saturday headliner pays $2,000 to win, $1,850 for second, $1,700 for third, $1,600 for fourth, $1,500 for fifth and $1,400 for sixth and then increments of $50 less for each place down to $500 for 24th. Cocopah dates are Arizona first for IMCA Wild West Tour

SOMERTON, Ariz. – An IMCA event 14 years in the making takes place March 19-20 at Cocopah Speedway. The Pitt Stop Motorsports IMCA Wild West Tour travels to Somerton in its first-ever visit to Arizona. IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win their Friday and Saturday features, with Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berths at stake both nights of the season-opening doubleheader. Ken Schrader joins the Modified field, piloting the car that carried Chaz Baca to the 2020 Shaw Race Cars Western Region crown. Both IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods run for $750 to win each night at Cocopah. The Wild West Tour has frequented tracks in Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming throughout a 115-race history dating to 2007. IMCA Hobby Stock winner cashes $1,600 check Saturday at Cocopah

SOMERTON, Ariz. – With money added from top to bottom of the purse, the winner of Saturday’s IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature at Cocopah Speedway goes home $1,600 richer. Included in the expanded purse are $200 prizes for a mystery position finisher and the hard charger of the Bobby’s Territorial Harley Davidson Night at the races event. IMCA Modifieds, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts complete the March 6 card, with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western and Big Daddy Race Cars Southern region, KMJ Performance State and track points to be awarded. Spring Kickoff starts season at Kennedale Speedway Park

KENNEDALE, Texas – Kennedale Speedway Park kicks off the new season in Texas this weekend, with the Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26 and 27 Spring Kickoff. IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars both race for $500 to win on Friday and $600 to win on Saturday, while Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods race for $500 to win to each night. Mach-1 Sport Compacts run for $200 to win on Saturday. All feature fields will start 24 cars. Start money is $80 for Modifieds and Stock Cars, $70 for the Southern SportMods and $50 for the Sport Compacts. Draw fee in all divisions is $10. IMCA STARS Mod Lites make Cocopah Speedway debut

SOMERTON, Ariz. – IMCA STARS Mod Lites make their 2021 Arizona debut this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 19 and 20 at Cocopah Speedway. IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win along with Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational berths and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods run for $500 to win, while top prize for the Mod Lites is $250 each night during the Western States Dwarf Car Association Nationals.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western Region, KMJ Performance Arizona State and track points will be awarded.   Pit gates open at noon, the grandstand opens at 2 p.m. and racing starts at 4 p.m. both days. IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars, Northern SportMods to open new season Jan. 2 at Antioch Speedway

ANTIOCH, Calif. – The track Where Action Is The Attraction opens for 2021 with three IMCA divisions on the Saturday, Jan. 2 card.  Antioch Speedway hosts IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods in its first show of the new season, with IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and KMJ Performance California State points to be awarded. Pit gates open at noon and hot laps are at 3 p.m. with racing to follow. Pit passes are $50 and face masks must be worn any time drivers or crew members are outside their pit area. SOMERTON, Ariz. – A pair of $1,500 to win IMCA Modified features are on race night cards at Cocopah Speedway’s Nov. 27 and Nov. 28 Turkey Classic.  Both Friday and Saturday main events are 2021 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifiers. Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods race for $500 to win each night.  The pit gate opens at 1 p.m. both days, with the front gate opening at 3 p.m. and racing at 5 p.m. Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and military and free for kids 11 and under. SOMERTON, Ariz. – Four IMCA divisions are on the weekend program with a $2,000 to win feature for IMCA Modifieds headlining Cocopah Speedway’s Deacon Dick Memorial. Racing starts at 7 p.m. for Friday, Nov. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 7 programs at Somerton. The Modified main event is a qualifier for the 2021 Fast Shafts All Star Invitational ballot and both Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace will compete at The Diamond In The Desert. Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods chase a $750 top check while IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $500 to win. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks complete the card in a $350 to win feature.
