Top Don Gumke Racers’ Memorial check for IMCA Modifieds is $2,222

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – IMCA Modifieds run for $2,222 to win, with a berth on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot on the line as well at Jamestown Speedway’s Saturday, June 12 Don Gumke Racers’ Memorial. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. for the second annual event. The grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m., draw cutoff is at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis North Central Region and KMJ Performance State points will be awarded. Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $5 for students ages 12-17 and free for kids 11 and under. Pit passes are $30. Car and driver is $50. Auto King IMCA Modified special at Batesville pays $1,500 to win

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The IMCA Modified king or queen of Batesville Motor Speedway’s Auto King Modified Madness show takes home the top check of $1,500. The Friday, June 11 special at Batesville is a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier and pays a minimum of $75 to start. There is no entry fee and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are also on the card. Pit passes are $35. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-11 and free for five and under. Round 2 takes NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series to The Hill

MONROETON, Pa. (June 4) – Round two of the NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series is tonight (Friday) at The Hill Speedway, with a top check of $750 on the line. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. with practice at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m. Registration opens at 5:45 p.m. and closes when the drivers’ meeting starts. Pit passes are $30 and the IMCA registration fee is $20. IMCA sponsors Bob Harris Enterprises, Wilwood and PEM give certificate or product awards. The IMCA Modifed portion of the program is sponsored tonight by Lamphere’s Truck Parts and Insinger Racing Fuels. The feature pays a minimum of $75 to start.

US 36, Bethany host $1,000 to win United Rebel Sprint Series shows

OSBORN, Mo. – Missouri speedplants US 36 Raceway and Bethany Speedway host first-ever appearances by the United Rebel Sprint Series this weekend, with $1,000 to win Budweiser Shootout shows on Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5 programs. On Friday, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car competitors head to the Bud Shootout at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, where Mike Sosebee of Sosebee Motorsports has put up $400 for the winner of a pole dash for the top six heat race qualifiers. ALBION, Neb. – A $1,045 top check and $500 hard charger prize are at stake for IMCA Sunoco Late Models on June 4, at Boone County Raceway’s Doc Palmer Memorial. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both run for $600 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $400 to win Friday night. Registration starts today for IMCA Dakota Classic Tour

MANDAN, N.D. – Online registration starts later today (Wednesday) for the Corral Sales IMCA Dakota Classic Tour. IMCA Modified and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car competitors can go to the drivers tab on www.dakotamodtour.com website to complete the registration process and secure their number. New this year is a $25 entry fee that will be refunded in cash the first night drivers race on the 32nd annual tour. All six Modified features pay $2,000 to win and are qualifying events for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Stock Car features pay $1,000 with winners becoming eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star race. Opening night is Saturday, July 10 at Jamestown Speedway. Big money, big trophies at Dodge City’s Boot Hill Championship

The DCRP Sprint Car feature winner will receive an additional $500 to the usual $1,000 paycheck thanks to the new promoter of the WaKeeney Speedway, Kyler Fetters. Winner of the Sunday, Sept. 5 RaceSaver National powered by Sunbelt Rentals at Eagle Raceway takes home $3,000, with a minimum of $1,500 paid to start the ninth annual event. “This is a class that continues to grow and the RaceSaver philosophy is to increase purses throughout the field, not just at the top,” said Eagle promoter Roger Hadan. “We’re already hosting the biggest event for Sprint Cars in the nation. Mini Mod Challenge Saturday for Mod Lites of Arkansas

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. – The Mod Lites of Arkansas make their return to Riverside International Speedway this Saturday, June 5 for the fourth annual Mini Mod Challenge presented by Rays Automotive. One of the crown jewel events for IMCA STARS Mod Lites, the Mini Mod Challenge pays $500 to win. Four heat race winners and the top four in passing points will run a pole dash, then the front row starters will be offered the challenge of starting at the tail and racing for $1,000 to win. The challenge has been accepted and several drivers have come close, but not won from the tail. A great car count is expected for the Saturday show. MANDAN, N.D. – Mandan Stock Car Association board members were looking for “something different” when they came up with the idea of a 100-lap race for IMCA Modifieds. Now they’re looking forward to the same great things when Dacotah Speedway hosts its second annual $5,000 to win Iron Man 100 on Friday and Saturday, June 4 and 5.
