NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series returns to Penn Can for Sunday show

SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. – Round five of the NY-Penn Series takes touring IMCA Modifieds back to Penn Can Speedway this Sunday for a $1,000 to win, minimum $100 to start main event. Brad Sites brings both a two-race winning streak and the series points lead to Susquehanna for the Aug. 15 event, which makes the winner eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational during the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Dirt Works Eastern Region and KMJ Performance State points, as well as special series points, will be awarded.  Gates open at noon for series competitors. $50,000 to win World IMCA Stock Car Championship at Batesville Oct. 13-16

BATESVILLE, Ark. – The top-paying IMCA Sunoco Stock Car event in the world takes The Class Too Tough To Tame to Batesville Motor Speedway for the $50,000 to win World IMCA Stock Car Championship Oct. 13-16. Presented by IMCA-TV, the inaugural event will start 30 cars and boasts a main event purse of $125,000 with $15,000 paid to the runner-up, $10,000 for third, $5,000 for fourth, $3,000 for fifth and a minimum of $1,500 to start. The top two drivers from each of 15 heat races transfer to nightly ‘A’ features Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with the top nine from that race advancing to the Saturday main event. IMCA Modifieds chase $5,000 check at Park Jefferson crown jewel Iron Cup

JEFFERSON, S.D. – The eighth annual running of the IMCA Iron Cup at Park Jefferson Speedway is coming on Aug. 9-10. One of the crown jewels of racing in Siouxland, the pursuit for coveted Iron Cups brings very fierce competition to Park Jefferson Speedway. Monday, Aug. 9 will feature the preliminary night of action as IMCA Modifieds run a format that mirrors the Marshalltown Speedway World Nationals. Drivers will compete in a pair of rounds of heat races to lock the top drivers in points into the “A” feature. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts will run a complete, separate program featuring draw/redraw IMCA procedures. Joe Crist Memorial is Friday at US 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – The biggest IMCA Sunoco Stock Car race of the season at US 36 Raceway is this Friday, July 30. The Crist Family and US 36 Raceway present the fifth annual Joe Crist Memorial, which pays $2,062 to win and makes the winning driver eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational. The main event pays a minimum of $125 to start and the longest haul is good for $162, with $62 paid for heat race wins, drawing the no. 62 chip, and hard luck award.  The Crist Memorial is draw/redraw and the $35 pre-registration fee covers the driver’s pit pass. Many prizes will be given away at the drivers, meeting and throughout the night.  Past winners of the event are Jason Estes in 2017, Blake Peeler in 2018, J.J. Baumli in 2019 and Steve Starmer in 2020.

Bullring Nationals slated for United Rebel Sprint Series

LaCROSSE, Kan. – Competitors with the Drive to Zero POWRI United Rebel Sprint Series presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing are preparing for Rush County Speedway’s Bullring Nationals. The United Rebel Sprint Series will be in competition on Friday, July 30 and Saturday, July 31 atop the action-packed bullring located in LaCrosse, Kan. $1,000 to win feature for IMCA Modifieds at Thunderbird

MUSKEGON, Mich. – A $1,000 top prize and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility are on the line Saturday night for IMCA Modifieds at Thunderbird Raceway.  The July 31 program is presented by JJ Motorsports. Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m., with hot laps at 5 p.m. and racing at 6:15 p.m.  Pit passes are $30 and spectator tickets will be available at the front gate. Adults are $12, seniors $10, kids ages 6-11 $5 and five and under free.

Willamette to host $5,000 to win IMCA Stock Car event on Aug. 21

By Ben Deatherage  LEBANON, Ore. – Willamette Speedway will be the place to be on Saturday, Aug. 21.  The historic 1/3-mile clay oval will be hosting a $5,000 to win IMCA Sunoco Stock Car event along with a 100-lap, $1,500 to win IMCA Modified show.  Both events will no doubt attract some top-tier talent to the Lebanon facility. The IMCA Modified 100-lapper was originally slated for July 24 but was pushed back to the August date.  The winner of the Stock Car event becomes an automatic qualifier for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational while the Modified winner becomes eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway in September. Hobo 40 for IMCA Stock Cars July 30 at Hancock County

BRITT, Iowa – Forty laps will be the distance and $2,000 will be the winner’s share of the Hobo 40 feature for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars on Friday, July 30 at Hancock County Speedway. The Hancock County Fair show pays a minimum of $200 to start with a $75 entry fee payable through the MyRacePass link. The winner becomes eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts are also on the draw/redraw card. Pit passes are $35. Spectator admission is $15 for adults and free for kids ages 12 and under. Moffitt returning to Harris Clash for 30th annual IMCA special

SPRING VALLEY, Minn. – Brett Moffitt will add to his IMCA heritage at the upcoming Harris Clash.  The 2007 Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod Clash winner, Moffitt will wheel an IMCA Modified at the 30th annual event on Aug. 3 at Deer Creek Speedway.  “I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve worked with him since he was about 13 years old,” Clash promoter Bob Harris said of Moffitt, the youngest driver to win at Knoxville Raceway, the 2015 rookie of the year in the NASCAR Cup Series and 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion. “It’s pretty cool and a benefit for the Clash.”  Moffitt will pilot a Jason Snyder-owned car.
