IMCA Modifieds chase $2,000 checks on July 15-17 Gunslinger Tour

RAPID CITY, S.D. (July 12, 2022) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers take aim at $2,000 top prizes each night of the July 15-17 Gunslinger Tour.  Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility is also at stake Friday, July 15 at Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, S.D.; Saturday, July 16 at Gillette, Wy., Thunder Speedway; and Sunday, July 17 at Casper, Wy., Speedway. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western Region, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded each night and the top driver in overall Gunslinger points receives a championship revolver. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks are also on the card at Black Hills and Gillette. Information about race programs each night is available on Facebook or the track websites.

IMCA STARS drivers racing for Texas-sized payout at inaugural Texas Mod Lite Nationals

WACO, Texas (July 7, 2022) – Heart O’ Texas Speedway rolls out the red carpet for an IMCA STARS Mod Lite special so big it could only be held in the Lone Star State.  The winner of the inaugural Oct. 13-15 Kick-N-Back Refrigeration Texas Mod Lite Nationals earns a $10,000 share of the $33,650 main event purse that weekend at Waco.  Runner-up pay is $5,000, with $2,000 for third and $1,500 for fourth. A minimum of $1,000 will be paid to finish in the top 10 and a minimum of $500 paid to start the 24-car feature field.  Two long haul awards of $150 will be paid. Hard charger awards are $100 for the feature and $50 for non-qualifiers. The Joe Butler Jr. Invitational pays $500 to win, $200 for second and $100 for third through eighth place. IMCA Modifieds return to Fayette County Speedway for Rage Chassis 40

WEST UNION, Iowa (July 7, 2022) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds return to Fayette County Speedway on Wednesday, July 20 for the second annual Rage Chassis 40.  The Fayette County Fair 40-lap special in West Union, hometown of Rage Chassis, pays $2,000 to win and a minimum of $250 to start. The winner becomes eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Razor Chassis North Central Region and KMJ Performance State points will be awarded at the draw/redraw show. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 p.m. and racing to follow. Entry fee is $50 and pit passes are $25. Hetrick Memorial set for Antioch Saturday night

ANTIOCH, Calif. (July 7, 2022) – After a week off to celebrate the Fourth of July, racing returns to Antioch Speedway in a big way this Saturday night, July 9. It’s the seventh annual Hetrick Memorial race and increased purses are on the line for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars.  Thanks to sponsorship, Modifieds will be competing for $1,500 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility on Saturday. It’s $750 to finish second and just taking the green flag in the main event assures the driver at least $150 at the pay window.  Northern SportMods compete for $750 to win while the Stock Cars get a $600 payout for the winner. (July 5, 2022) – Another big payday is in the works for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars at Boone County Raceway’s second annual Tanner Pelster Memorial.  The Sunday, July 10 main event for The Class Too Tough To Tame at Albion totes a $5,111 top check along with automatic qualifying for the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational. The runner-up earns $3,111 with $2,111 paid for third, $1,111 for fourth and $911 for fifth. A minimum of $211 will be paid to start the 24 car main event. Benton County Speedway hosts Urbana 5 Memorial this Sunday

VINTON, Iowa (July 5, 2022) – Five young race fans will be remembered this Sunday, July 10 when Benton County Speedway hosts the Urbana 5 Memorial. “We work very hard each year to forever keep the memory of Nikki, Quentin, Triston, Hunter and Zoey alive. They passed away on April 9, 2015 in a car accident. What better way to honor them than organizing something they would love, a dirt track race,” said race committee member Brittany Usher. “This race is also to raise awareness for the Iowa Donor Network. Thursday Dale DeFrance Memorial to feature four IMCA divisions

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (July 5, 2022) – Four IMCA divisions are on the Thursday night card for the fifth annual Dale DeFrance Memorial at Marshalltown Speedway. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win and $200 to start along with Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility on July 7 while IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $750 to win and $155 to start, plus B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. IMCA Hobby Stocks run at The New Raceway Park’s Dave Riley Memorial

JEFFERSON, S.D. (June 27, 2022) – IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks race for $1,500 to win when The New Raceway Park hosts the Sunday, July 3 Dave Riley Memorial.  The runner-up earns $900, with $600 paid for third and $350 for fourth. Minimum start money is $100 and the feature purse is more than $5,000. Tow is $50. The hard charger earns $256 and there is no entry fee. The Hobby Stock portion of the holiday weekend event will be draw/redraw. From Sioux City, Riley was a long-time IMCA Hobby Stock competitor at tracks in South Dakota and western Iowa. IMCA Modified winner takes home $7,007 from Southern Oregon Speedway’s Snyder Salute

MEDFORD, Ore. (June 27, 2022) – Southern Oregon Speedway pays tribute to late track announcer and James Bond fan R. Charles Snyder with a $7,007 to win special for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds July 2 and 3. The fifth annual R. Charles Snyder Salute sees Modifieds run two heats and race for $1,500 to win and a minimum of $150 to start their Saturday night qualifying feature. Ten cars advance from that race; last-chance races and the main event are on Sunday. WACO, Texas (June 27, 2022) – Heart O’ Texas Speedway gets an early start to the Independence Day Weekend celebration with the Baby Blue Harcrow Memorial for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars. The winner of the final race in the Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2 special lassos a $5,000 top prize and earns a guaranteed starting spot in the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational as well.  Runner-up pay is $2,500 with $1,500 for third and $1,000 for fourth.
