1,156 pre-entries a new Super Nationals record

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 29, 2025) – If pre-registration trends are any indication, the 43rd annual Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s may be one for the record book. It actually already is. By the time pre-registration closed Thursday night at midnight, an impressive 1,156 drivers from 33 states, Canada and Australia reserved their place to compete on IMCA Racing’s biggest stage at Boone Speedway Aug. 30-Sept. 6. This year’s pre-entry numbers bested last year’s then-record 1,061 early registrations by nearly 100 drivers. Leading registration numbers were the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, which established a new pre-entry best 302 drivers for the Class Too Tough To Tame. Other new highs were set in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods with 203 pre-entries, Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks with 185 and Stealth Racing STARS IMCA Mod Lites with 93. Entry deadline for Prelude set for midnight Thursday, August 28

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 27, 2025) – While record entries for the 43rd annual Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s continue to roll in, drivers wishing to run the Prelude to Super Nationals must be pre-entered for Super Nationals by midnight, Thursday, August 28, to be eligible to compete in this weekend’s event. The Thursday night deadline also applies to eligible drivers planning to compete in their respective Race of Champions qualifiers and All-Star Invitational events. The entry deadline does not apply to the main Super Nationals events. Registration will remain open for drivers seeking to qualify for their Big Dance. The deadline also does not apply to Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite drivers as their Super Nationals champion is crowned during Prelude weekend. Veloz Storms from Eighth for Davenport Late Model Victory; Ryan Secures Sixth Track Title

By Mike McGuire DAVENPORT, Iowa (Aug. 22, 2025) — Logan Veloz picked up his fourth Sunoco IMCA Late Model win of the season at Davenport Speedway, charging from eighth starting to the lead by lap five. Once in front, the Colona, Illinois chauffeur was untouchable the rest of the way. The victory was Veloz’s 11th overall this year, with four of those coming at Davenport. Matt Ryan came from the sixth row to earn a hard-fought second with a last-lap pass, while Nathan Balensiefen ran inside the top five all night before settling for third. Harris Auto Racing to Host Open House on September 3

NAPA Fan Zone to Host Full Slate of Interactive Activities at 2025 IMCA Super Nationals

Located near the grandstands and filled with displays, activities, and special appearances, the Fan Zone brings drivers and fans together like no other venue during the weeklong event. Beast of the East Showdown Delivers Full Slate of Mod Lite Action in 2025

(Aug. 21, 2025) — For the first time in its young history, the Beast of the East Showdown for the Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites was completed in full, with all scheduled race nights run and 36 drivers from six states and two Canadian provinces taking part. After rain claimed two of the three scheduled races in the inaugural 2024 edition, the 2025 Showdown bounced back with a three-race points-paying slate. The addition of Weedsport Speedway helped fill out the weekend, and the expanded schedule drew a deep and competitive field that kept fans on their feet all weekend long. The New York contingent defended their home turf in the opener on Friday, August 15, at Brewerton Speedway, where Justin Williams scored the victory over fellow Empire State drivers Zack Babcock and Matt Kitts. 1,000 Drivers Set to Chase Glory at 2025 IMCA Super Nationals

By Ben Deatherage BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 20, 2025) – For the fourth consecutive year, pre-entries for the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s have topped the 1,000 mark. On August 20, Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock driver Eric Cross of Salina, Kansas, became the 1,000th driver to register for the 43rd annual event. All divisions are currently pacing ahead of last year’s totals, with 285 Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, 237 Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, 168 Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods, 159 Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, 78 Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites, and 60 Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts already entered. The overall all-time record of 1,036 competitors was set last year, with 1,061 pre-registered entries. The Stock Car total is already an all-time preregistration record for the class, surpassing last year’s mark of 281. Donor Provides Complimentary Registration for Stealth Racing IMCA Mod Lite Drivers at Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 20, 2025) – An anonymous donor has stepped forward to support Stealth Racing IMCA Mod Lite drivers by covering the cost of registration for the division, beginning Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 8 a.m. CST. Registration can be found on MyRacePass by searching IMCA Super Nationals. In addition to free Mod Lite registration, each Mod Lite driver who pre-enters for the event between August 20 and August 29, will also receive a complimentary pit pass for both Saturday and Sunday of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
