Everything comes up roses for Mills at RPM’s Sunflower Classic

HAYS, Kan. (April 1, 2023) – Jeremy Mills had good finishes to show for his previous handful of visits to RPM Speedway. Now he’s a Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature winner at the Hays speed plant. Packets being mailed to all IMCA divisions, some 2023 decals are only available online

VINTON, Iowa (March 31, 2023) – Decal packets in all divisions are now being mailed from the IMCA office each day of the work week Monday through Friday. Modified and Northern SportMod packets do not include decals from divisional title sponsor Friesen Performance; Hobby Stock packets do not include decals from regional title sponsor Big Daddy Race Cars. Drivers who want to display Friesen Performance or Big Daddy Race Cars decals can download either by going to the respective decal placement diagrams under the Forms menu on the IMCA website. In addition, some Modified drivers received a single regional title sponsor decal, which should be displayed on the driver’s side door, because of a shortage in the number of supplied decals on hand and the need to get packets mailed. Those drivers can also download a second decal from the IMCA website or request one by calling the IMCA office. Rage Chassis reigns as new title sponsor for Super Nationals Modified Race of Champions

WEST UNION, Iowa (March 31, 2023) – A chassis builder that’s seen continued success at IMCA venues around the nation takes a new title at the biggest IMCA event. Rage Chassis becomes the new sponsor of the Modified Race of Champions, to be held during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. The West Union chassis builder, owned by Justin and Holly O’Brien, provides a portion of the point fund to be paid for the 12-car, 12-lap, $1,000 to win race. David Murray Jr. joining Nebraska Auto Racing Hall of Fame

LINCOLN, Neb. (March 27, 2023) – The winningest driver in Friesen Performance IMCA Modified history can add Hall of Famer to his resume. David Murray Jr. is one of six members of the Nebraska Auto Racing Hall of Fame induction class of 2023. In addition, the hall of fame board has announced this year’s Gordie Shuck Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to a long-time racing family, the Lincoln Family of US 30 Speedway in Columbus. The Lincolns have been a staple in the racing community for many decades promoting racetracks, setting the standard of racing safety and lending a helping hand to other racing facilities, helping them to be successful. I-37 Speedway, after a “proposed” opening night rain out last week, raised the curtain on the new season with a host of racing on the night’s agenda. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $750 each night. Both Friday and Saturday features are qualifying events for Fast Shafts All-Star or B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitationals. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod features both pay $500 to win, Mach-1 Sport Compact features $200. PLEASANTON, Texas (March 22, 2023) – Saturday’s season opener at I-37 Speedway sees Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds racing for $1,000 to win along with qualifying eligibility for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational. Pit gates and the grandstand both open at 4 p.m. for the March 25 lidlifter. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing to follow. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, GRT Race Cars South Central Region, Texas State and track points will be awarded. Pit passes are $30. VINTON, Iowa (March 22, 2023) – Five more Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers earned Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility during a month that saw more than its fair share of races canceled due to persistent cold temperatures, rain or a combination of both. Austen Becerra ruled Clash on the Coast roost, winning three times during his Florida vacation while Joseph Joiner collected the checkers on the other night.
