Five new to Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational eligibility

VINTON, Iowa (March 22, 2023) – Five more Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers earned Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility during a month that saw more than its fair share of races canceled due to persistent cold temperatures, rain or a combination of both. Austen Becerra ruled Clash on the Coast roost, winning three times during his Florida vacation while Joseph Joiner collected the checkers on the other night. John Webb and Tyler Iverson were Ice Breaker winners at Abilene and Todd Neiheiser topped a rich weekly show at Southern Raceway. IMCA announces composite body panel rating mandate

VINTON, Iowa (March 21, 2023) – IMCA will follow guidelines established by the United States Department of Transportation for the composite body panels allowed beginning this season in the Modified and Late Model divisions. In particular, those guidelines address burn resistance. Composite body panels submitted by Five Star Bodies/MD3 have already been determined to meet those parameters and have been approved for use in both divisions. “There have already been some questions as to how we define composite body panels. Allstar Performance heat win awards complement support of IMCA Super Nationals, NY-Penn Series

WATERVLIET, Mich. (March 21, 2023) – Winning a heat gets IMCA drivers race night recognition from Allstar Performance. Winning 10 or more heats this season gets them post-season awards courtesy of the Watervliet, Mich., high performance parts manufacturer. Allstar Performance provides the decals given to heat race winners throughout the 2023 IMCA campaign. Drivers winning 10 or more heat races this year receive $100 gift cards. The driver, regardless of division, winning the most heat races gets a $250 gift card. Central California Clash set for May 3-7, IMCA.TV broadcasts each night of tour

ANTIOCH, Calif. (March 21, 2023) – Three champions will be crowned in the upcoming IMCA Central California Clash May 3-7. IMCA.TV broadcasts each night of the fourth annual tour, which features Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods. IMCA Late Models return to weekly shows at Crawford County

DENISON, Iowa (March 21, 2023) – Night two of the Spring Fling special marks the return of IMCA Sunoco Late Models to Crawford County Speedway. The Saturday, April 22 show is the first for the division at Denison in a decade. DAVENPORT, Iowa (March 20, 2023) – Three IMCA divisions join Friday and Saturday Thaw Brawl shows at Davenport Speedway. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $600 to win March 24 and 25, while IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods chase $500 top checks both nights. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Razor Chassis North Central and EQ Cylinder Heads Northern regional, and Iowa State points will be awarded. Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Racing follows 6:30 p.m. hot laps. Adult grandstand admission is $30. Cotton Bowl starts 10^th season with IMCA this Saturday

PAIGE, Texas (March 20, 2023) – Opening night this Saturday marks the 10th consecutive year of sanctioning for three IMCA divisions at Cotton Bowl Speedway. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods will be joined by the Southern United Sprints in the March 25 lidlifter at Paige. “We worked the track all off-season. It looks really, really good,” said promoter Mary Ann Naumann. “We’re excited about opening night and we’re glad to have the Sprints back.
