NAPA Returns as Title Sponsor of Prelude and Fan Zone for IMCA Super Nationals Week

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (Apr. 9, 2026) — NAPA Auto Parts will once again play a major role during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, serving as the title sponsor of both the NAPA Double Down Prelude and the popular Fan Zone experience throughout the week at Boone Speedway. NAPA’s continued support extends beyond naming rights, as the company will provide a $500 gift card to each Super Nationals champion, as well as the RaceSaver Nationals champion. In addition, first non-qualifiers across divisions will each receive $250 NAPA gift cards. A centerpiece of NAPA’s involvement is the Fan Zone, which features a full schedule of interactive events designed to connect drivers and fans throughout the week. Texas Sprint Car Nationals Brings $5,000-to-Win Show to Kennedale May 9

By Ben Deatherage KENNEDALE, Texas (Apr. 8, 2026) — A new chapter begins at Kennedale Speedway Park as the former Michael Melton race transitions into the Texas 305 Sprint Car Nationals, a one-night, high-paying event set for Saturday, May 9. The RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car special will feature a $5,000-to-win main event with a total purse exceeding $20,000, offering multiple bonus opportunities that could see a driver earn as much as $9,000 in a single night. Incentives include $500 for quick time, $500 to win the pole dash, and a $3,000 bonus for leading every lap of the feature. Lap sponsorships will also be available at $100 per lap led. Pombo Dominates California 305 Sprint Series Return to Santa Maria

By Stephanie Odom SANTA MARIA, Calif. (Apr. 4, 2026) — The California 305 Sprint Series action returned to Santa Maria Speedway for the first of several visits this season for the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car tour, with George Tristao Jr. and Davey Pombo leading the field to green for the 20-lap feature. Pombo took control at the drop of the green and never looked back, leading all 20 laps to secure his first win of 2026. Tristao finished second, followed by Jeremy Alves, Evan Dixon, and Kevin Barnes Sr. Tristao set quick time in qualifying, while heat race wins went to Tristao and Lance Jackson.
