281 switches Spring Fling to April 25, 26

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The Spring Fling originally planned for this weekend at 281 Speedway has been rescheduled for Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26.

Inclement weather, wet track conditions and a wet and windy forecast prompted the change of dates.

IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts will race both days at Stephenville.

Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. On Sunday, gates open at 1 p.m., the grandstand opens and hot laps start at 3 p.m. and racing is at 4 p.m.

All applicable IMCA points will be awarded. There is no registration fee and pit passes are $30.

Spectator admission is $10 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6-12 and free for youngsters five and under.
