Peck Scores $1,000 Donald Green Memorial Stock Car Victory

JEFFERSON, S.D. (Aug. 7, 2026) — Greg Peck captured the biggest prize of the night Friday at Park Jefferson Speedway, winning the $1,000-to-win Donald Green Memorial for Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars.

Jason Ward and Travis Barker dueled for the lead over the opening five laps before Greg Peck, who started fifth, raced his way to the front. Once out front, the Sioux City, Iowa, driver moved to the high side and pulled away to secure the 25-lap victory.

The win was Peck’s fifth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region triumph of 2026 and his fourth at Park Jefferson Speedway this season. The Donald Green Memorial was a B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational qualifying event, but Peck was already on the eligibility list for the event, which is held during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

Dan Mackenthun finished second ahead of Barker, Ward and Mel Elsberry.

Wyatt Luke and Mike Vondrak won the heat races.

Abelson Goes Back-to-Back in Modifieds

Chris Mills paced the early laps of the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature before a caution erased his advantage and gave Chris Abelson an opportunity.

Abelson used the outside groove to drive around Mills following the restart and went on to score the victory.

The Sioux City, Iowa, driver earned his second straight Park Jefferson Speedway victory and second consecutive Razor Chassis North Central Region triumph.

Mills settled for second ahead of Bob Moore, Jimmy Cole and Jace Whitt.

Mills and Abelson collected the heat race victories.

Kirk Charges From 10th Again in SportMods

Willy Kirk continued his remarkable habit of passing cars in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods.

Starting 10th, Kirk raced to his seventh Park Jefferson Speedway victory of the season. It was also his 12th overall win of 2026.

Jake Newsom made an impressive charge from 18th to finish second, while Mary Hahn stormed from 25th to fourth.

Trevor Noonan completed the podium in third, and Geoff Olson rounded out the top five.

Olson, Noonan and Tommy Tanner won the heat races.

Malasek Wins Second Straight Hobby Stock Feature

Cody Malasek charged from ninth to capture his second consecutive Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature victory.

The Emerson, Neb., driver now owns 10 B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victories this season, including seven at Park Jefferson Speedway.

Matt Rezac and Jordan Uehling shared the early lead before Malasek sliced through the field to take command.

Steven Taylor finished second, followed by Wyatt Johnson, Uehling and Zach Ankrum.

Parker Vollbrecht and Malasek won the heat races.

Woodle Leads Every Lap in Sport Compacts

Dalton Woodle ended a stretch of bad luck by leading all 14 laps of the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact feature.

The Pierson, Iowa, driver now has two victories this season, earned at two different tracks.

Bentley Freeman finished second ahead of Levi Volkert, Tyler Thompson and Taylor Brown.

Woodle and Mike Vogt claimed the heat race victories.
