VINTON, Iowa (June 2, 2026) — The 2026 Sunoco Bonus Bucks program for Sunoco IMCA Late Models got underway in May, recognizing feature winners and contingency award recipients at four events across Iowa and Illinois.
The month began May 8 at Highway 39 Speedway, where Omaha, Nebraska’s Corey Zeitner scored the feature victory and collected the Sunoco Bonus Bucks award. Defending Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing National champion Zach Zeitner finished second, while Drew Baker advanced from eighth to third. Mike Collins and Robbie Jorgensen completed the top five.
Baker’s charge through the field earned him the Justice Brothers Hard Charger Award, while Charlie Peck collected the PEM Racing award as the 10th-place finisher.
One night later at Shelby County Speedway, Zach Zeitner put together an impressive drive from 10th starting position to capture both the feature win and Sunoco Bonus Bucks honors. Aidan Mohr finished second, followed by Allan Hopp, Sterling Perkins, and Cooper Tilley.
Zeitner’s drive through the field also earned him the Justice Brothers Hard Charger Award.
The May 15 stop at Lee County Speedway saw Quincy, Illinois driver Spencer Havermale claim the feature victory and Sunoco Bonus Bucks award. Jayden Johnson finished second, Darin Weisinger Jr. was third and also took home the Justice Bros hard charger, Sam Halstead crossed the line fourth, and Denny Woodworth completed the top five. Carter Johnson collected the PEM Racing certificate.
The final Sunoco Bonus Bucks event of the month took place May 24 at Quincy Raceways. Hometown driver Jackson Frankel earned the feature victory and Sunoco Bonus Bucks award in front of his local fans. Tommy Elston finished second as well as the Justice Bros Hard Charger award, Jake Griffin was third, Jeffrey DeLongjay came home fourth, and Havermale rounded out the top five after advancing from 11th starting position. Logan Cumby was awarded the PEM Racing certificate.
The Sunoco Bonus Bucks program will continue throughout the summer with upcoming events scheduled at Maquoketa Speedway on June 13, Dubuque Speedway on June 14, 34 Raceway on July 18, US 30 Speedway on July 23, Boone County Raceway on July 24, Off Road Speedway on July 25, Sports Park Raceway on August 9, Davenport Speedway on August 14, East Moline Speedway on August 23, and Shelby County Speedway’s Tiny Lund Memorial on September 18. An additional event at Park Jefferson Speedway will be announced at a later date.
