VINTON, Iowa (May 21, 2026) — The Tougher Than Dirt Tour is set to roar back to life this June with five straight nights of Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing competition across North Dakota and Saskatchewan, featuring strong point funds, unique awards, and some of the top Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod and Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock drivers in the region.
The 2026 tour schedule opens Wednesday, June 3 at McLean County Speedway in Underwood, North Dakota before heading west to Williston Basin Speedway on Thursday, June 4. The tour then crosses into Canada on Friday, June 5 for a stop at Estevan Motor Speedway in Estevan, Saskatchewan. Thunder Mountain Speedway in Bottineau hosts the Robbie Conway Memorial on Saturday, June 6 before the tour wraps up Sunday, June 7 at Nodak Speedway in Minot.
Tour director Brandon Beeter expects another strong field of competitors from across the Upper Midwest and Canada.
“We’ve had some outsiders already sign up like Payce Herrera and Nathan DeRagon,” Beeter said. “But we’ve got a really strong list of locals that plan on going on the tour.”
A $2,000 point fund has been established in both the Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod divisions. Champions in each class will earn $1,000, while second place pays $600 and third receives $400.
Additional awards throughout the week will add even more excitement to the tour atmosphere. Hard chargers in both divisions each night will receive coolers, while feature winners will collect oversized bling chain necklaces and big checks in victory lane.
The Tougher Than Dirt Tour has crowned a number of standout champions over the years. Diezel Raynard captured back-to-back Hobby Stock championships in 2024 and 2025, while Brock Beeter (2018, 2022) is the division’s only other multi-time champion. Other recent Hobby Stock title winners include Brandon Bombardo (2023), Jason Ruby (2021), and Brad King (2020).
In Northern SportMod competition, Gabriel Deschamp earned consecutive tour championships in 2023 and 2024 before Leevi Runge claimed the 2025 crown. Robby Rosselli is a two-time SportMod champion (2017, 2020), while Brock Beeter (2016), Rocky Caudle (2018), Brady Bjella (2019), Erik Laudenschlager (2021), and Chase Alves (2022) have also captured tour titles.
