Swift Springs Celebrates a Decade of Partnership With IMCA

By Ben Deatherage

CHINO HILLS, Calif. (Feb. 5, 2026) — Swift Springs is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a sponsor of IMCA in 2026, marking a decade-long partnership rooted in grassroots racing and performance-driven innovation.

Swift Springs traces its roots to Tokyo Hatsujo Manufacturing Co., Ltd., founded in 1924 as a leader in spring technology. That engineering foundation entered motorsports in 1997 with the creation of Swift Springs, applying decades of manufacturing expertise to racing suspension. Since then, Swift has become a trusted name in American dirt track racing, known for producing lightweight, durable, and highly consistent coil springs designed to meet the demands of competitive racers.

As part of its continued support of IMCA competitors, Swift Springs will again award a set of springs to each Rookie of the Year in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods, Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods, Sunoco IMCA Late Models, and Stealth Racing IMCA Mod Lites divisions. In addition, the other four regional IMCA Modified rookies of the year will each receive one spring. These awards will be presented during the IMCA National Awards Banquet this fall.

Swift also provides spring sets to runners-up in the dances for IMCA Modifieds, Late Models, Stock Cars, Northern SportMods, and Mod Lites at the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

“IMCA is a huge organization, and it brings so many different racers to the track, from Mod Lites to Late Models and Modifieds,” said Frank Simonetti, Motorsports Director at Swift Springs. “There are so many classes that it’s a great opportunity for us to showcase our product and help the racers. Grassroots racers are the backbone of racing — they’re out there every week — and that’s where we like to be.”

Simonetti noted the growth of the partnership over the past decade, particularly during the IMCA Super Nationals at Boone Speedway.

“It feels like yesterday we came on board with IMCA,” he added. “When you look at what we do at Boone now compared to 10 years ago — the number of racers we help and talk to — it’s been tremendous growth for both sides. It’s been great for our brand, and we’re excited to continue supporting IMCA racers, including helping with one of the IMCA series on the East Coast this year.”
