KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 21, 2025) — Dominance, determination and drive once again defined Dillon Raffurty’s season as the Missouri standout extended his record streak to five consecutive Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite national championships.

Piloting the Raffurty Motorsports/Raffurty Excavating/Fritter Racing Engines No. 46 Raffurty Chassis, the Kansas City driver again set the benchmark for precision and perseverance. His 2025 campaign produced 30 feature victories across five tracks in three states, highlighted by 16 wins at Valley Speedway, eight at Electric City Speedway in Butler, two at Central Arizona Raceway’s IMCA TV Winter Nationals, and single triumphs at Marshalltown and Davenport Speedways. That total ties his previous best of 30 wins in a single season when he did so last year and in 2022.

Across 45 starts, Raffurty posted 35 podiums, 38 top-five finishes and 44 top-tens, ultimately clinching the national crown by just three points. The season also included an especially emotional highlight — his third career victory in the David Raffurty Memorial, held each September at Valley Speedway in honor of his late father.

“I don’t know what it is — I just try to do what’s always worked,” Raffurty said. “The year started out pretty good with decent runs in Arizona, then we had some bad luck during the Winter Nationals in Georgia and Florida. We came home, regrouped and got our program back in order. From there, the spring and summer we were strong. It’s hard to win a championship — you have to show up and execute every week. One bad week can take out eight good ones.”

Raffurty’s path to another crown was built on streaks and steady execution. He opened the year with two wins at the IMCA TV Winter Nationals in Arizona, then after returning home to Missouri and reeled off four straight victories in April, sweeping Electric City and Valley Speedway on consecutive weekends.

From mid-May through late June he pieced together a seven-race win streak that included two weekend sweeps, one pairing Electric City and Valley and another split between Marshalltown and Valley. Through July and August he hit peak form, stacking six consecutive wins while sweeping back-to-back weekends at Electric City and Valley.

Raffurty finished the season with another hot hand, winning six of his final seven starts, including four straight at Valley Speedway and road victories at both Electric City and Davenport to secure the national title.

He also swept the Missouri State championship for the fifth straight year and repeated as track champion at both Valley and Electric City, marking his second consecutive dual-track title season. Since the IMCA STARS Mod Lite division’s sanctioning began in 2021, Raffurty has been its only national champion — an unbroken five-year run unmatched in division history.
