North Platte, Neb. (July 21, 2025) — With just two events left on the 2025 BST IMCA Great Plains Tour, the pressure is building and championship hopes are hanging in the balance. Drivers in all divisions are jockeying for position as the tour wraps up Sunday, July 27 at Dawson County Raceway and Monday, July 28 at Lincoln County Raceway.

The Monday finale, billed as Monday Night Madness for Money, features $1,000 to win in all IMCA divisions at Lincoln County. The draw/redraw format awards national, regional, state, tour, and track points through Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing. It’s a must-see event in the heart of the North Platte Fair.

Steffens Leads, But Not By Much in the Modifieds

Ayden Steffens enters the final weekend with 212 points in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, but his lead is anything but secure. Troy Seidl (194) and Jacob Tobey (186) are both within striking distance, while Bubba Alvarado (172) isn’t out of the hunt yet. One misstep could shuffle the order dramatically.

Bellm Holds Slim Margin in Stock Cars

Layne Bellm paces the Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars with 224 points, but D.J. Banks (205) and Frank Ogden (202) are close behind. With only 22 points separating the top three, the Stock Car championship could come down to the final lap.

Moser in Control of SportMods

Ryan Moser leads the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods with 233 points, but Doug Beaman (214) has stayed close all season and remains in striking range. Jayden Alvarado (185) sits third and will be looking to close strong.

Siegle Sets the Hobby Stock Pace

Brayson Siegle holds a solid lead in the Hobby Stock standings with 212 points, while Gordon French (201) and Dave Banks (191) are keeping him honest. It’s still anyone’s title going into the final two races.

This final weekend is about more than just checkered flags—championships and reputations are on the line. With major support from Runza, Overton Sand & Gravel, Fessler Tire Company, Au Hail Repair, Shaw Disposal, Summit Automotive, and Buckeye Welding, fans are encouraged to come out and cheer on their favorites.
