SEYMOUR, Wis. (Jul. 4, 2025) – As the calendar flipped from June to July, temperatures rose—and so did the excitement at Outagamie Speedway. The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main event saw Cody Schroeder lead the opening lap from the front row. That lead was short-lived, though, as Skyler Woods blasted the high side on lap two and rocketed into the top spot.
Woods was able to fend off all challengers over the balance of the race to secure his second consecutive win at Outagamie and in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Schroeder finished second with Dylan Waldvogel rounding out the podium in third.
Stedjee Survives Late Caution to Score First Stock Car Win of 2025
Dylan Stedjee pulled away from the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car field at the drop of the green from his pole position starting spot. Jerry Wilinski quickly found an advantage on the low side and worked around Wyatt Blashe into second by lap three.
Yellow flags marred the event until the final caution came with five laps to go, when contact between Wilinski and Stedjee sent Stedjee into the spin cycle as they battled for the lead. Track officials assessed Wilinski the penalty, returning Stedjee to the top spot for the restart. He then had to fend off the new second-place runner, Jerry Leary, who had been the first to test the high groove before the caution.
Stedjee moved up to the top himself and held strong to grab his first win of the season in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region. Rod Snellenberger charged to second at the checkers, and point leader Brett Wenzel finished third.
Vanderloop Outduels Vlies and Schmidt for First SportMod Victory of Season
The Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature began with Jordan Endries taking the early lead. Dylan Schmidt rocketed from seventh to second by lap two, then powered past Endries for the top spot on lap three, looking poised to win his second straight.
A caution after six laps bunched the field, and Schmidt led the pack of J.J. Vanderloop, Coy Vlies, Max Oreskovich, and Endries back to green. Vanderloop slipped past Schmidt on lap nine and Vlies moved into second on lap 15. Vlies began closing in, but the checkered flag flew before he could mount a final charge.
Vanderloop claimed his first win of 2025, followed by Vlies in second and Schmidt third.
Kaufert Takes Advantage Late for Sport Compact Victory
The Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact feature saw Clint Malueg lead the first eight laps until a caution bunched the field. On the restart, Malueg’s no. 22 machine struggled to get back up to speed, and Ricky Kaufert took full advantage, powering into the lead.
Kaufert never looked back, leading the rest of the way to collect first win of the current campaign. TJ Everard finished second and Al Cotrell crossed the line in third.
