KENNEDALE, Texas (Mar. 29, 2025) — Josh Graham was on a mission Saturday night at Kennedale Speedway Park, putting on a blistering charge from 10th to the front in the 20-lap Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMod main event. The Carrollton racer, pulling double duty on the night, showed unmatched speed and determination as he sliced through the field to earn his first win of the 2025 season.
Gary Fox led early after outdueling Billy Burt, while Graham and Demetrius Carter traded shots for second. Graham made a bold move for the lead on lap eight, powering off turn four to edge ahead, only for a caution to negate the pass and reset the order.
On the restart, Graham wasted no time reclaiming his momentum, diving under Fox on lap nine to officially take over the top spot. Once out front, he quickly checked out on the field.
A late caution bunched up the pack, but Graham was flawless on the restart. Fox and Carter battled fiercely for second behind him, but nobody had anything for the No. 15, who capped off an impressive drive with a convincing win.
Sessums Sails to another Sprint Car Win
Jeb Sessums wasted no time in the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car 20-lap main, charging from sixth to the lead in the opening lap at Kennedale Speedway Park. The Burleson native—a two-time Texas State and two-time Kennedale Speedway Park track champion—powered around the field and never looked back.
He took the lead from Lady Eagle racer Katelynn Dixon before a red flag paused the action early. Once the race resumed, Sessums took off and built a commanding lead, slicing through lapped traffic with ease.
Driving the Taco Casa Racing No. 01 entry, Sessums captured his second win of the 2025 season. Austin Burkham finished second, while South Dakota’s Koby Werkmeister—2022 South Dakota State and I-90 Speedway champion—rounded out the podium in third.

McMillin Untouchable in Stock Car Victory
Brett McMillin led flag-to-flag in the 20-lap Sunoco IMCA Stock Car main event for his first EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region victory of the season.
The Burleson native took the lead from double-duty driver Demetrius Carter on the opening lap and maintained a solid lead during the early green flag run. Carter held off Lance Hanson Jr. for several laps until a lap eight caution reset the field.

On the restart, Hanson slipped into second, but a wild battle for the position broke out between Carter, three-time KSP track champion Jerrett Bransom, and John Rabozzi. The fight ended when Rabozzi went up in smoke with a handful of laps remaining.
McMillin was excellent on the final restart and drove away unchallenged to secure the win. Bransom came out on top of the battle for second, with Carter finishing third.
