Dustin Kroening sat on the pole, with Jake McBirnie to his outside. But it was Marshalltown native Tom Berry Jr. who made quick work of the field, grabbing the lead early and leaving the rest behind. Berry cruised to a dominant win in the 20-lap finale, while Kollin Hibdon and McBirnie completed the podium. (Jun. 28, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds headlined the Saturday night program at Thomas County Speedway, with Danny Keller and John Burrow setting the pace on the front row. Burrow jumped to the early lead but quickly came under fire from Dylan Sherfick and Kyle Rohleder, two of the fastest Modified shoes in the state. The trio battled tightly for the top spot until a caution flew on lap four for a spin by Eddie Belec. Rohleder led the field back to green, but Clay Money had other plans. Charging up from deeper in the pack, Money powered to the lead by lap seven and began pulling away as Sherfick and Rohleder fought behind him. (Jun. 27, 2025) — Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks headlined Friday night at the historic WaKeeney Speedway.  The front row of the main event featured Blake Holmes and Zach Olmstead. Olmstead charged to the early lead but was quickly challenged by Brady Wulf and Holmes. Staying smooth and composed throughout the feature, Olmstead fended off every advance and claimed his 12th win of the season in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Brady Bencken made a huge run through the field to finish second, with Eric Cross crossing the line third. Just before the halfway mark, Skyler Woods muscled his way into the top spot on lap nine. A caution quickly flew at the midpoint of the race, stacking the field back up. On the restart, Czarneski found momentum on the high side and surged back into the lead on lap 13. The two frontrunners dueled door-to-door for several laps before Woods regained the advantage for good on lap 17. At Murray County Speedway, she passed under the checkers for her 100th career sanctioned win, finally reaching a milestone that had narrowly eluded her for nearly a year. “I had win number 99 last August at Slayton,” she said. “So to finally get 100 — and to do it at the same track — it was kind of poetic.” Now in her 15th season, DeVries becomes just the fourth driver in IMCA Sport Compact history to reach the century mark, joining Nate Coopman (297), Ramsey Meyer (230), and Caine Mahlberg (111). (Jun. 25, 2025) — The second annual Joey Hergott Memorial at Beatrice Speedway is set for Monday, July 14, and will once again feature one of the most lucrative single-night payouts for Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars. With a unique two-stage feature format, the main event offers $3,000 to win each 22-lap stage, with a potential for $10,000 in total winnings, including bonus money. The format will include heat races and B-Mains to set the stage for a 24-car feature. Stage one will consist of 22 laps and pay $3,000 to the winner. After a three-minute break to allow teams to make adjustments, stage two begins. That trend continued Thursday night at Kossuth County Speedway, as the veteran driver added another win to his collection. Shryock took the lead on the fifth circuit of the 25-lap main event and navigated through lapped traffic in the closing stages to hold off a serious challenge from Justin Luinenburg.
