Clymens Captures Second Antioch SportMod Win of 2025

By Candice Martin ANTIOCH, Calif. (June 14, 2025) — Trevor Clymens of Brentwood collected his second Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod win of the season at Antioch Speedway and fifth overall in 2025 on Saturday’s Fan Appreciation Night. Clymens took advantage of a late-race mechanical issue for then-leader Kenny Shrader with just two laps remaining in the 20-lap feature. Kelly Campanile led the early going, with Clymens moving into second ahead of Shrader following a lap two restart. The lead trio ran in tight formation until Shrader executed a big inside move in turn four on lap five to take the lead. A caution followed shortly after when Jason Ryan Jr., a top-five points contender, stalled in turn two. Shrader continued to lead on the restart, followed by Clymens and Fred Ryland. As the laps clicked off, Ryland and Clymens waged a spirited battle for second. Ryland completed a low move in turn four on lap 12 to take over the runner-up position. The race was halted for the final time on lap 16 when Tommy [Read More]

Wroten Masters Low Side for First Hobby Stock Win of 2025 at Independence

By Christine Rublack INDEPENDENCE, Iowa (Jun. 14, 2025) — At Independence Motor Speedway, Lady Eagle racer Leah Wroten powered to victory in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks. Quinton Miller took the early command, followed closely by Carson James. Trenton Neuhaus moved into third while Joren Fisher rolled the low groove into second, with Bradley Graham charging the top side into third. Wroten worked her way into the top five just before a caution regrouped the field. On the restart, Wroten stuck to the low groove and worked past Graham for the lead. With the checkers waving, she crossed the line first for her first win of the 2025 season in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Graham settled for second, with Dalton Weepie rounding out the top three. Wroten started the feature in seventh. Hilmer Doubles Up in SportMods at Independence Brady Hilmer topped a stellar field in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod division. Hellman Hustles to Second Stock Car Victory at Mandan

By Becca Pelkey MANDAN, N.D. (Jun. 13, 2025) — Dylan Herner and Dustin Frank led the field to the green flag in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature at Dacotah Speedway. While Herner and Frank battled side-by-side for the top spot, the action behind them intensified with four- and five-wide racing for third. Geoff Hellman, who started 10th, threaded his way through traffic and muscled into third before seizing the lead on lap six. The fight for second heated up between Scott Gartner and Travis Ulmer, but Ulmer’s charge ended abruptly when he slid off the top of turn four, falling back through the field. Gartner held on for second while points leader Brock Beeter fended off Matt Dosch for third. Hellman cruised to his second victory of the season at Mandan and in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region. Wilson Returns to Modified Victory Lane in Mandan Elijah Puckett led early in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature, but Spencer Wilson—who rolled off from the third starting position—quickly reeled him in and took command on [Read More]
