FAIRMONT, Minn. – Fairmont Raceway’s Friday, Aug. 5 Cellan Motorsports Summer Shootout presented by IMCA.TV boasts a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying feature for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds.
A minimum of $1,000 will be paid to win and $175 to start the Modified main event.
Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $750 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $525 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $400 to win.
Among the race sponsors contributing to the purse are the Southern Minnesota Area Corn Growers and Wilmont Oil. Payouts in all divisions will be increased as additional contributions are received.
There are no entry fees for the draw/redraw show. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State but no local track points will be given.
Pit gates and the grandstand both open at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.
Grandstand admission is $12 for adults and free for students 18 and under. Pit passes are $30.
