ARLINGTON, Minn. (Aug. 8, 2026) — Logan Domagala led every lap of the caution-free RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature to earn the first victory of his Sprint Car career Saturday night at Arlington Raceway.
Starting on the pole, the Brandon, S.D., driver quickly established himself out front while Andrew Allen slipped past Dalton Domagala for second on the opening lap. Allen chased the leader throughout the 15-lap distance but could never close enough to mount a challenge.
Domagala scored the victory ahead of Allen, Dalton Domagala, Bill Johnson, and Mike Stien.
Loverude Breaks Through for First 2026 Modified Win
The Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature featured multiple lead changes before Trent Loverude emerged on top.
Curt Lund led at the drop of the green before J.J. Reimers worked underneath him for the lead on lap three. Lund answered one lap later to reclaim the top spot as Chad Porter, Matt Looft, and Loverude sliced through the field behind them.
Lund’s night came to an abrupt end with mechanical trouble, handing the lead to Loverude. From there, the New Ulm driver held off repeated challenges from Looft and Porter over the closing laps to secure his first victory of the season.
The win was Loverude’s first Razor Chassis North Central Region triumph of 2026.
Looft finished second, Porter crossed the line third, Dan Menk was fourth, and Jason Schroeder completed the top five.
Davis Charges From 14th for SportMod Victory
The Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods produced one of the night’s wildest finishes.
Jeff Lloyd led the opening eight circuits before Zach Davis powered around him for the lead. Multiple cautions followed, including a white-flag incident that eliminated Lloyd, Ben Reierson, and Cole Hesse while battling near the front.
The final lap belonged to Davis, who charged from 14th starting to earn his fourth Arlington victory and fifth overall triumph of the season.
Eric Larson stormed from 17th to second, Chris Neisen finished third, Joey Reimers was fourth, and Alexander Barnes completed the top five.
Lund Prevails in Stock Cars
Curt Lund survived an intense battle at the front of the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature to collect his ninth victory of the season.
After an opening-lap incident sidelined Dave Moriarty and Randy Melvin, A.J. Zimmerman led the restart before Lund and Shaun Bruns took control of the race.
Lund held off Bruns over the closing laps to earn his sixth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of 2026 and his second Arlington triumph of the year.
Bruns finished second ahead of Josh Larsen, Zimmerman, and Trent Loverude.
Probst Wins Another Arlington Hobby Stock Feature
Cory Probst continued his outstanding season in Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock competition.
Mason Goettl paced the opening eight laps before repeated cautions allowed Probst and Chad Volk to close the gap. Probst eventually emerged from an entertaining duel with Volk to secure the victory.
The Brewster driver earned his 10th B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory of the season and seventh Arlington win of 2026.
Volk finished second, Goettl held on for third, Taylor Manderfield was fourth, and Austin Jahnz completed the top five.
Jerry Coopman Holds Off Son in Sport Compacts
Jerry Coopman led nine of the 10 laps in the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact feature and then held off a late charge from his son, Nate, to collect his first victory of the season.
Nate Coopman advanced from ninth starting to finish second, while Alan Lahr completed the podium. Dale Gatton and Gavin Allen rounded out the top five.
