EAGLE, Neb. (Jul. 5, 2025) — The RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature at Eagle Raceway on Saturday night had multiple red flags and hard-fought battles throughout. Cameron Thompson backed it into the wall on the original start, and the restart saw Cole Wayman collect John Klabunde. Tadd Holliman led early over Justin Bolte, Alex Davenport, and Brandon Horton. Cole Vanderheiden climbed to second by lap 11, then attempted a slide job that sent Holliman into the wall, destroying his car.
On the restart, fuel spills from Nate Weiler caused another delay. When the race resumed, Horton led Vanderheiden, Adam Gullion, and Bolte. Gullion flipped on the final restart after contact with Billy Alley, triggering the time-limit rule and ending the race. Horton was declared the winner—his second Racesaver Sprint Car win of the season, both coming at Eagle. Vanderheiden was second and Zachary Patterson third.
Woken Powers to First Eagle Stock Car Win After Wild Midrace Shakeup
The Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature opened with a major pile-up involving five cars on the first attempt at a start. Dana Deeke initially led once things got underway. Austin Boucher and Casey Woken took over the front spots, with Mason Richards joining the mix.
A major incident unfolded with eight laps to go when Trevor Baker attempted a slide job on Austin Boucher, making contact that slowed both cars. Mason Richards took advantage and raced into the lead. Moments later, Boucher bounced off the frontstretch wall and collected Kyle Vanover, ending both their nights and bringing out a caution. Chad Andersen spun to avoid the mess and came to a stop.
On the restart, Woken took the lead and held off Nate Thompson, who climbed to second on the final lap. It was Woken’s second win of the 2025 campaign in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region and his first this season at Eagle. Richards was third.
Noonan Makes Triumphant Return to Eagle In SportMods
Trevor Noonan made his first Eagle appearance of the season a winning one in the Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods. He took the lead from John Allensworth early and survived multiple cautions and choose cone restarts. The race featured a strong mid-pack shuffle with Arie Schouten, Gary Saathoff, Adam Vrbka, and Cole Wayman all fighting for position.
Schouten, Saathoff, and Vrbka each held top-four positions during the first half of the race, but mechanical issues and cautions changed the order repeatedly. Noonan never relinquished the lead after grabbing it on lap three and held on through a final yellow with three laps to go. The win marked his first at Eagle in 2025 and second overall victory of the current season. Vrbka and Wayman followed him across the line in second and third.
Schreiner Snaps Streak to Deny Richards in Hobby Stocks
The Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature was a hard charger’s showcase. Brad Schreiner came from third to the lead early and never looked back. Multiple cautions slowed the race and led to several shake-ups in the running order.
Dillon Richards advanced from 17th after winning both the C and B features, climbing into second with five laps remaining. Despite his late charge, Schreiner’s advantage was too great to overcome. Schreiner captured his first win of the 2025 season in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. Richards and Brayden Hurley rounded out the podium.
Armstrong Controls the Modifieds for First Win of 2025
Adam Armstrong led from the start and stayed out front to the checkered flag in a caution-filled Friesen Performance IMCA Modified finale. Ricky Stephan, Chad Andersen, and Cameron Thompson all held top-four positions through the early stages. Multiple cautions and restarts brought new contenders forward, including Johnny Saathoff, who secured fourth after Thompson tagged the wall and exited.
No position changes occurred in the final laps, with Armstrong taking his first win of the year in the Jet Racing Central Region. Andersen and Stephan completed the podium
