SEYMOUR, Wis. (Jun. 27, 2025) — The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified main at Outagamie Speedway saw Cole Czarneski grab the early lead and pace the field through the opening laps. Just before the halfway mark, Skyler Woods muscled his way into the top spot on lap nine. A caution quickly flew at the midpoint of the race, stacking the field back up. On the restart, Czarneski found momentum on the high side and surged back into the lead on lap 13. The two frontrunners dueled door-to-door for several laps before Woods regained the advantage for good on lap 17. Woods went on to score his first win of the season in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Czarneski finished second, with Johnny Whitman completing the top three.
Schmidt Wins Emotional SportMod Feature
The Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod feature began with Tanner Pari capitalizing on the pole position to lead lap one. Aaron Butterbrodt quickly worked into second by lap two, but the race was slowed on lap four when Braxton Ambrosius spun in turn four while running third. After the restart, Pari continued to lead over Butterbrodt, Owen Wilcox, Shane Bahr, and Dylan Schmidt.
Another caution flew on lap seven, but Schmidt had climbed to second by that point. On lap nine, he powered past Pari to take the lead. Bahr moved into the runner-up spot on lap 13 but couldn’t mount a challenge for the win . A night that began with a heavy heart carrying the black flag for Barb Wilcox ended in victory lane for Dylan Schmidt as he claimed a popular win with the crowd—his second win of the season. Bahr was second and Ryan Schmidt ran third.
Booth Awarded Compact Win After Photo Finish
In the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact main, Ben Schulte rocketed into the early lead, with Cody Booth quickly turning up the pressure. The duo traded the top spot several times in a thrilling back-and-forth battle that came down to the wire. Schulte edged Booth at the line by just .002 seconds, but a post-race tech inspection revealed a tire size infraction on Schulte’s car, handing the win to Booth, who now has three victories in 2025—all at Outagamie Speedway. Thomas Schulte was credited with second, followed by David Cox in third.
