Three-Night Corn Belt Clash Brings Big Payouts for Mod Lites Across Iowa

VINTON, Iowa (May 15, 2025) — The Corn Belt Clash returns with three straight nights of intense Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lite action, kicking off on Friday, May 23 at Marshalltown Speedway, continuing Saturday at Boone Speedway, and wrapping up Sunday at Stuart Speedway.

“This event has become a staple for Mod Lites,” said Jimmy May, Mod Lite Director. “It’s the fifth year under IMCA, and it’s a great opportunity for drivers to compete at multiple tracks over one weekend while chasing a solid point fund.”

Drivers will battle for $500 to win each night with $100 to start. In addition, the Top 20 in overall Clash points will each receive $350, thanks to the generous support of Vessco, Superior Race Cars, and several anonymous sponsors.

Peak Decals will provide the big checks for each night’s winners, while Weekend Performance will give $30 cash to every heat race winner.

“This point fund is a big motivator for teams to come out and run the entire weekend,” May added. “With three nights of racing and a solid payout structure, it’s going to be a can’t-miss event for Mod Lite racers.”

Stealth Racing will provide $50 certificates for hard charger and hard luck bonuses each night, adding even more opportunity for drivers to leave with cash and prizes.

Track, Iowa State, and National points will be awarded at each event. Fans unable to attend can catch all the action from Boone and Stuart live on IMCA TV.

NAPA Racing Fan Zone a center of off-track Super Nationals activities

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 11, 2022) – There will be plenty to see and enjoy throughout the week of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in the NAPA Racing Fan Zone, located south of the main grandstands at Boone Speedway. 30 vendors on Manufacturers’ Row at Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 19, 2022) – Thirty vendors have confirmed plans to be on Manufacturers’ Row during the 40th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. IMCA and event sponsors will offer a wide range of high performance products for use during the week of Sept. 5-10. They’ll also display a variety of new products for use in IMCA competition in 2023. Minnesota driver takes IMCA Modified checkers on big night at Boone

By Joyce Eisele BOONE, Iowa (May 23) – A huge field of 234 cars checked into Boone Speedway on Saturday night and Minnesota racer Aaron Johnson swept to the win in the final circuit of the IMCA Modified feature. It appeared that hometown driver Russell Dickerson was going to top them all as he immediately powered to the lead from his fourth place starting spot. Dickerson continued to lead as the 20-lapprt wound down but Brainerd, Minn., driver Johnson, who had started ninth on the grid, had reeled him in and was challenging. Dickerson held the upper hand at lap 19 but was unable to hold off his nemesis that final lap with Johnson making the pass and snatching the win. Dickerson had to settle for second. Kyle Brown moved up from 11th starting to third. Devin Smith topped the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars while brother Doug took the checkers in a field of 69 entries in the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods. Murty Survives Late Race Drama to Take Stock Car Dirt Duel

By Ben Deatherage STUART, Iowa (May 14, 2025) — Dallon Murty made the most of his father Damon’s ride Wednesday night at Stuart Speedway, capturing the $2,000 payday in the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car portion of the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel. The Chelsea native surged past Dillon Solum for the lead on a lap seven restart after Solum and Buck Schafroth battled intensely for the top spot in the opening laps. Schafroth, the two-time defending track champion, fended off several slider attempts from Solum before the Oregon transplant finally found a way around him on the seventh circuit. Murty appeared to be in control until a lap 21 caution erased his sizable advantage. A brush with oil in turn three nearly cost him the win as the fluid brought out the yellow, setting up a green-white-checkered finish. (May 11, 2025) — Dalton Magers fended off a fierce late-race challenge from multi-time state champion Brandon Beckendorf to capture the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified season opener at Redwood Speedway. The Redwood Falls racer, a three-time reigning Murray County Speedway track champion, held his line and kept Beckendorf at bay over the final circuits to secure his first win of 2025 in the Razor Chassis North Central Region.
