Summit awards rate a 10 with top 10 drivers in all IMCA divisions

TALLMADGE, Ohio (April 18, 2023) – Drivers finishing in the top 10 of IMCA point standings will rate the Summit Racing Equipment awards program an enthusiastic 10. 

The Tallmadge, Ohio-headquartered supplier of Parts for Anything You Drive awards gift cards with a total of $15,000 to eligible IMCA drivers in 2023 and returning to national decal programs for three divisions. 

Top 10 drivers in each of the five Friesen Performance IMCA Modified regions, both IMCA Sunoco Stock Car regions and both IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock regions, and top 10 finishers in national stand­ings for the IMCA Sunoco Late Models, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods, Smi­ley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Com­pacts all receive $100 gift certificates from the 14-year sponsor.

Summit is part of national decal programs for the Modifieds, Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts, and drivers in all three divisions must display two Summit logos on their race car to make themselves eligible for national and regional point fund shares. 

Gift cards will be presented during the national awards banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week. 

Summit also gives $50 product certificates to top 10 finishers in Modified, Late Model, Stock Car, Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod, Mod Lite and Sport Compact main events at Super Nationals.

Summit opened its doors for business in 1968 and has been based out of Tallmadge since 1992, later expanding to add retail locations in Sparks, Nev., McDonough, Ga., and Arlington, Texas.
