WATERVLIET, Mich. (March 21, 2023) – Winning a heat gets IMCA drivers race night recognition from Allstar Performance.
Winning 10 or more heats this season gets them post-season awards courtesy of the Watervliet, Mich., high performance parts manufacturer.
Allstar Performance provides the decals given to heat race winners throughout the 2023 IMCA campaign. Drivers winning 10 or more heat races this year receive $100 gift cards. The driver, regardless of division, winning the most heat races gets a $250 gift card.
The one caveat is that drivers must email a photo of their car proving heat race winner decal placement to IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm at cbgramm@imca.com to be eligible. Awards will be presented during the IMCA national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week.
IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock driver David Miller of Sioux City, Iowa, was the recipient of the $250 gift card last year.
Fourteen-year sponsor Allstar Performance also gives $200 product certificates to all champions crowned at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s and RaceSaver Nationals, and a set of toe plates to front-row qualifiers for Modified, Late Model, Stock Car, Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod, Sport Compact and STARS Mod Lite main events at Boone Speedway this September.
And drivers winning two or more of four designated events in the upcoming Close Racing Supply NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series presented by MR Graphix again earn bonuses as part of the Allstar Performance Modified Challenge.
A $250 bonus goes to the driver(s) winning two events among the $1,504 to win Billy Ward Memorial May 13 at Afton Motorsports Park, the $1,069 to win Billy Maynard Memorial at The Hill Speedway July 14, the $1,000 to win show at Woodhull Raceway on July 29 and the $2,000 to win series finale at Bridgeport Speedway.
The driver who can win three of those features earns a $500 bonus.
