Kevko awards in five IMCA divisions continue for national rookies of the year, state champs

FAIRMONT, Minn. (Jan. 12, 2023) – First-year drivers in five IMCA divisions are in the running for top awards from Kevko again in 2023.

The Fairmont, Minn., manufacturer and 13-year sponsor gives a claim or crate engine oil pan to Friesen Performance IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod national rookies of the year.

State champions in the same divisions all receive $50 product certificates.

“This has been an outstanding program for us and for a lot of IMCA drivers over the years,” commented Kevko’s Josh Ruby. “One of the best things has been that it allows us to show we do so much more than oil pans. We can promote our brand and show what we can do for drivers as well as engine builders.”

Rookie and state championship awards will be presented during the national IMCA banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the home office.

Kevko awards given at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s include two jack stands to the second-place driver and a wheel socket to the fourth place finisher in Modified, Late Model, Stock Car, Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod and Sport Compact main events.

Information about Kevko oil pans and other high performance parts and accessories is available at the www.kevkoracing.com website, by calling 800 770-3557 and on Facebook.

“The Kevko program is a great way to reward five of our national rookies of the year,” observed IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm, “as well as drivers from across the country winning state championships in those divisions.”

Eighty-three state champions received Kevko certificates in 2022.
