Jordan Page Memorial this weekend at Southern Oklahoma

ARDMORE, Okla. (Sept. 27, 2022) – Three IMCA divisions take to the 3/8-mile clay oval at Southern Oklahoma Speedway this weekend for the 18th annual Jordan Page Memorial Winter Nationals. 

Main events on Saturday, Oct. 1 see Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $2,500 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods chase a $1,500 top check and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $1,000 to win and B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility.

Top 12 drivers are locked in during Friday qualifying and the final 12 cars in last-chance races on Saturday. Minimum start money is $300 for Modifieds, $200 for Southern SportMods and $175 for Stock Cars. 

Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. both days.

Spectator admission is $15 for adults and $10 for kids ages 6-12 on Friday and $20 for adults and $15 for kids ages 6-12 on Saturday. Pit passes are $35 for one day or $65 for two days.

Pit passes for the Thursday, Sept. 29 open practice are $15.

Early entries top 120 for IMCA All Star Shootout

ARDMORE, Okla. (May 24, 2022) – Early entries top 120 as all stars in three IMCA divisions will see action each night of the May 25-29 All Star Shootout. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods both for $750 to win beginning with opening night Wednesday, May 25 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore. The Shootout is then Texas-bound for shows Thursday, May 26 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells; Friday, May 27 at Boyd Raceway; Saturday, May 28 at Kennedale Speedway Park; and Sunday, May 29 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco. Clement is IMCA Modified star in Shootout opener at Ardmore

ARDMORE, Okla. (May 26, 2022) – A driver without a plan going into the opening night All Star Shootout feature for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds went home with $1,000 after it.  Mitchell Clement took charge following a restart at halfway, then held off a late challenge from William Gould in winning the Thursday night headliner at Southern Oklahoma Speedway. Jacob Pirkle found the fast line coming to the checkers to edge Gould for second-place pay. “I didn’t know what the track was going to do. I didn’t have a plan out there,” Clement admitted after his first feature win of 2022. “I knew the 60 car (Gould) would be coming.
