NAPA Racing Fan Zone a center of off-track Super Nationals activities

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 11, 2022) – There will be plenty to see and enjoy through­out the week of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in the NAPA Racing Fan Zone, located south of the main grandstands at Boone Speedway. 

Nu­merous events will be held at the Fan Zone each day of the 40th annual Super Nationals Sept. 5-10.

“The NAPA Racing Fan Zone will be your center for giveaways and freebies all week long,” said IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm. “Stop down and be part of all the activities, including the first-ever IMCA DirtCast pre-race show, which will feature special interviews with many of your favorite past champions, sponsors and promoters alike.”

“Fans will also have the opportunity to interact with drivers on a daily basis and check out all that NAPA has to offer,” he added. 

Daily schedules will be posted on the IMCA website and Facebook page as times are confirmed. 

Regular announcements will also be made during each day’s race program to keep fans at Boone Speedway abreast with what’s going on and when in the Fan Zone. 

Race car displays, interviews with race winners and autograph sessions are in the works and Becker-Gramm noted that the ever-popular “redraw opportunities,” aka cornhole, for qualifying feature winners and card games for race of champions qualifiers would be held at the Fan Zone as well.

Annual Salute to Veterans race expands, adds Spencer, Boone dates

Deery Series headlines opening night at IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – Opening night of the 2019 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s brings the Deery Brothers Summer Series to Boone Speedway for the 49th time. The IMCA Late Model tour headlines the Monday, Sept. 2 program at Boone, in a main event that pays as much as $3,500 to win. Along with a guaranteed $2,000, the winner earns a Weekly Racing Bonus of as much as $1,500 based on their number of sanctioned starts this season, plus a wealth of contingency awards. Pit gates open at 9 a.m. and racing starts at 2 p.m. Also on the Labor Day card are qualifying races for Hobby Stocks and Northern SportMods. Inaugural Super Nationals BBQ Championship to determine another best at Boone Speedway

BOONE, Iowa – Every September, drivers from coast to coast and border to border converge on Boone Speedway to determine a champion at IMCA’s biggest event.  This year, Jacob Bartz hopes to get barbecue masters attending the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s to square off and determine a champion of their own.  Bartz has organized the first annual Super Nationals BBQ Championship, to be held Saturday, Sept. 7. “This is the best race in the United States, where you have drivers, fans and track owners from across the country,” said Bartz. “I want to see them enter barbecue from Oklahoma, from North Carolina and Minnesota, from all over.
