Winters Performance gives IMCA Modified, Stock Car top five, national rookie awards

YORK, Pa. (June 7, 2022) – Drivers in two IMCA divisions receive awards this fall from eight-year sponsor Winters Performance Products.

The York, Pa., manufacturer again gives $100 product certificates to top five drivers in each of the five regions for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and in both regions for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars.

The IMCA Modified national rookie of the year receives a quick change rear end with steel axle tubes while the IMCA Stock Car national rookie of the year receives a Falcon aluminum transmission.

“We’re proud to continue our partnership with IMCA and to present these awards to IMCA racers,” said Winters Performance CEO Bob Salathe. “My grandfather founded this company in 1958 to support the racing community that he was a part of by providing the best performance products available. We’re thrilled to be able to carry on that same level of support and involvement nearly 65 years later.”

Awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.

Winters also gives a set of quick change gears and storage box to each of the six drivers winning Modified features at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
