BANGOR, Wis. (June 7, 2022) – The expanded divisions of Wehrs Machine & Racing Products continue their support of IMCA special events, and of competitors at IMCA’s biggest event again this season.
Wehrs marks its 11th year of IMCA sponsorship and 25th year in business in 2022. Owner Chad Wehrs started manufacturing high performance parts in the building that had first been home to his family’s Bangor, Wis., Chevrolet dealership in 1935.
“We are very proud to be a part of IMCA and love to give back to the racers,” he said. “Thank you to all of our great customers for trusting us to help them win races for 25 awesome years!”
Wehrs again gives $50 gift certificates to a top five finisher at 80 designated specials for Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Late Models, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods.
Winners at 25 Modified and Northern SportMod specials each receive a pair of Ricochet shock guard covers.
Each of the five regional Modified champions and the five Modified rookies of the year each receive $500 gift certificates good toward the purchase of an Ultra Force spring machine.
Drivers and bean bag tossers alike compete for prizes given by the Wehrs family of companies.
Wehrs gives deluxe product packages to top four finishers in Modified, Stock Car, Northern SportMod, Hobby Stock, Sport Compact and Late Model main events and winners of the four race of champions events at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
Ricochet shock guard covers go to each Modified heat winner and Modified and Northern SportMod qualifying feature and main event winners while Ultra Force gives a spring machine to the 10th non-qualifier in Modified point standings.
And Scorezit returns as title sponsor of the fourth annual cornhole tournament during the week at Boone Speedway.
