AFCO continues support of IMCA for 29th season

BOONVILLE, Ind. (April 6, 2022) – AFCO nears another IMCA sponsorship milestone in 2022, giving post-season awards for a 29th consecutive season. 

The Boonville, Ind., high performance parts manufacturer gives those awards based on national or regional standings, for IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Late Models, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, IMCA Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods.

“AFCO is thrilled to mark its 29th year supporting IMCA racing. We enjoy being part of the long-standing tradition with this tremendous group,” said Kerri Hart, marketing director for the AFCO Performance Group. “We look forward to awarding IMCA racers with various awards, such as GM replacement frame kits, shocks, radiators, and product certificates. We hope every IMCA racer has a terrific season!”

Top three eligible drivers in each of the five Modified regions receive product certificates for $250, $150 and $50, respectively, while top three eligible drivers in both Stock Car regions get certifi­cates valued at $200, $100 and $50.

The top three eligible drivers in the two Hobby Stock regions and in na­tional standings for both SportMod divisions will receive $125, $75 and $50 product certifi­cates.

Drivers in each of those divisions must compete with AFCO shocks and springs, display two AFCO decals on their race car and return a completed sign-up form.

The rookie of the year and fourth, sixth and 11th place finishers in national Late Model point standings receive $100 product certificates.

The Modified national champion and rookie of the year, and first hard luck driver to get upside down during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, re­ceive GM frame replace­ment kits.

The highest finishing eligible drivers in Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod main events at Super Nationals all receive four shocks. The Hobby Stock champion gets a set of four springs and the Late Model champion receives a double pass radiator.
