IMCA Modified Western Region drivers race under Shaw Race Cars banner again in 2022

BATESVILLE, Ark. (March 9, 2022) – The Shaw Race Cars banner flies over IMCA’s Western Region for Modifieds for an 11th consecutive season in 2022.

The Batesville, Ark., chassis builder, owned by Scott and Marlene Mosley, again provides a portion of the point fund to be paid to top 10 drivers in point standings for the region that includes tracks in Arizona, California, western Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, northern New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

“Working with IMCA has been very good for us. It’s given our business and our chassis a lot of exposure,” said Mrs. Mosley. “(Executive Director of Competition) Dave Brenn is always available and we can always contact (IMCA President) Brett Root. They make it very easy for us.”

The 2022 regional champion will earn $2,500, with $1,250 paid for second, $625 for third, $325 for fourth and $300 for fifth. Sixth through 10th place finishers each receive $200.

Drivers must display two Shaw Race Cars logos on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares.

Much accomplished veteran and 2012 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s champion Jeff Taylor returns as developmental driver for Shaw. Information about Shaw chassis and services is available by calling 870 251-2966, at the website and on Facebook.

“Shaw Race Cars’ support of the IMCA Modified Western Region is a tremendous bonus to the drivers,” notes IMCA Marketing Integration and Sponsorship Director Carson Becker-Gramm. “Scott and Marlene are very helpful, and always ready to help which shows through their commitment to their customers and the IMCA organization.”
