Bigger purse announced for RaceSaver Nationals championship field

EAGLE, Neb. – The biggest event of the season for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars will have a bigger purse.

Winner of the Sunday, Sept. 5 RaceSaver National powered by Sunbelt Rentals at Eagle Raceway takes home $3,000, with a minimum of $1,500 paid to start the ninth annual event.

“This is a class that continues to grow and the RaceSaver philosophy is to increase purses throughout the field, not just at the top,” said Eagle promoter Roger Hadan. “We’re already hosting the biggest event for Sprint Cars in the nation. Car count numbers and the quality of competition every year at RaceSaver Nationals warrant the increased purse throughout the Sunday night championship field.”

Complete $53,525 purse for Sunday’s Championship event is: 1^st, $3,000; 2^nd, $2,600; 3^rd, $2,450; 4^th, $2,425; 5^th, $2,400; 6^th, $2,350; 7^th, $2,300; 8^th, $2,250; 9^th, $2,200; 10^th, $2,150; 11^th, $2,100; 12^th, $2,050; 13^th, $2,000; 14^th, $1,950; 15^th, $1,900; 16^th, $1,850; 17^th, $1,800; 18^th, $1,750; 19^th, $1,700; 20^th, $1,650; 21^st, $1,600; 22^nd, $1,550; and 23^rd through 27^th, $1,500 each.

Twenty-car qualifying features Friday, Sept. 3 and Saturday, Sept. 4 both pay $700 to win and a minimum of $250 to start, with $100 to non-qualifiers and $50 tow.

Those complete purses are: 1^st, $700; 2^nd, $500; 3^rd, $400; 4^th, $350; 5^th, $350; 6^th, $325; 7^th, $300; 8^th, $295; 9^th, $290; 10^th, $285; 11^th, $280; 12^th, $275; 13^th, $270; 14^th, $265; 15^th, $260; 16^th, $255; and 17^th through 20^th, $250.

Sunday’s ‘B’ feature purse for non-qualifiers, which totals $7,000, is 10^th, $1,000; 11^th, $900; 12^th, $800; 13^th, $700; 14^th, $600; and 15^th through 20^th, $500.

All other non-qualifiers earn a minimum of $250 and most positions will get more with non-qualifier cash sponsorships. Tow money is $100.

And the purse for the Precise Racing Products Race of Champions is: 1^st, $1,000; 2^nd, $500; 3^rd, $300; 4^th, $200 and fifth through 20^th, $100.

IMCA Modifieds, Northern SportMods chase Ice Breaker Challenge bonuses

EAGLE, Neb. (April 9, 2024) – Drivers in six IMCA divisions have a chance to put a check on their bucket list with feature wins at Eagle Raceway’s Ice Breaker Challenge. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods are on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 race cards, and the driver in either division who can win both nights earns a $1,000 Twice is Nice Challenge bonus from event presenting sponsor Auto Trans Matic. Big wings, big excitement of 10th annual RaceSaver Nationals at Eagle Sept. 1-4

EAGLE, Neb. (July 21, 2022) – The big wings and big excitement of the 10th annual RaceSaver Nationals are at Eagle Raceway Sept. 1-4. IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars race for $3,000 to win and a minimum of $1,500 to start the Sunday main event, with IMCA adding a $1,500 bonus to the winning driver provided they had made at least one 2022 sanctioned start coming into the weekend. Gullion gets RaceSaver Sprint win at Eagle

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Aug. 1) – Adam Gullion became the ninth different IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car winner in as many events this season Saturday at Eagle Raceway. The fifth different leader Gullion saw his first pass for the front spot negated by a caution. He was not to be denied, however, and took the lead on the ensuing restart. Gene Ackland got past Jordan Grabouski two laps later and Jason Danley also passed him with three to go making the final top four in the evening’s finale Gullion, Ackland, Danley and Grabouski. After taking the lead with nine laps to go, Johnny Saathoff took the IMCA Modified feature win. Following a first-lap restart, Saathoff worked his way into the top four and set his sights on the front spot. Mike Densberger was the runner-up and Grabouski rallied from an early entanglement to end in third. Albert Kiihne collected the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock checkers, Adam Vrbka paced the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Josh Young was the Mach-1 Sport Compact winner.
