Mitchell Machine marks 15th season as IMCA sponsor

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa – Mitchell Machine marks its 15th season of IMCA sponsorship in 2021, continuing an awards program rewarding Stock Car, Hobby Stock and SportMod competitors.

The Webster City, Iowa, transmission manufacturer and machine shop again gives product certificates based on regional point standings for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, and on national point standings for Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods.

Top three eligible finishers in both Stock Car regions and both Hobby Stock regions, and national standings for the two SportMod divisions receive product certificates valued at $250, $100 and $100, respectively,

Those awards will be presented during the national banquet this fall or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office. 

Drivers in each division must compete with a Mitchell-manufactured transmission, return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office, provide proof of purchase made between Jan. 1 and Oct. 1, 2021 and display two Mitchell Machine logos on their race car. 

Mitchell Machine also gives $50 product certificates to first, fifth, 10th and 15th place finishers in, and the top non-qualifier for Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod main events at the IMCA Speedway Mo­tors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.
