KELLEY, Iowa – Tire Demon by Love Tap gives special event and post-season awards to IMCA drivers in four divisions again this season.
Owned by former SportMod driver Tim Love, the Kelley, Iowa, manufacturer and sixth-year sponsor gives $500 certificates to designated place finishers at 30 specials for IMCA Modifieds and at 15 designated specials for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Products SportMods.
Certificates are to be applied toward the purchase of a Tire Demon package and will be mailed from the IMCA home office the week after official race results are received. A drawing will be held after the end of the point season to award right rear tire saver tools to three drivers who competed at any of those designated specials.
2020 drawing winners were Joey Price, Modified; J.J. Baumli, Stock Car; and Blaine Walt, SportMod.
“Tire Demon has come a long way in just a few short years, from building 25 a year in a small garage to building over 250 machines a year in the bigger shop. We put our heart and soul into building the best out there,” Love said. “Tire Demon has given back to the racer and to various charities and will continue to do so.”
“What a huge honor it is to partner with IMCA. Tire Demon wouldn’t be where we are today without IMCA,” he added. “Tire Demon will continue to strive to build the best, highest quality products on the market with the best customer service. We stand behind our products 100 percent … a big thank you to all our customers!”
Champions crowned at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will be Tire Demon award recipients as well.
The Modified champion earns a Tire Demon machine, the Late Model champion a base machine, wash tub and brush, and the Stock Car and Northern SportMod champions both tire scythes.
