IMCA Modified winner reels in $1,000 at Casper special

CASPER, Wy. – The IMCA Modified driver taking the Friday, May 7 main event win at Casper Speedway lands a $1,000 check and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth.

The Chuck’s Bait Night special pays a minimum of $50 to start and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western Region, KMJ Perfor­mance Wyoming State and track points will be given.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.

Car and driver is $40; pit passes are $30. Spectator ad­mission is $10 for adults, $10 for military, First Respond­ers, kids and seniors. 12 and under are free.

New promoters look to build on car count at Casper Speedway 

CASPER, Wyo. – With IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks returning to race night programs, new promoters Faye and Ray Nash are in charge of a busy schedule look to build on an already solid car count foundation at Casper Speedway. The IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing point season for both divisions starts May 11 at the half-mile dirt Wyoming speedplant with season championship night set for Aug. 31. The Nashes come to Casper following a five-year stint at Valentine Speedway in Glenrock. “We started with about 20 cars there and built it up. What we want to do here is build on the car counts that have already been established,” Mrs. Nash said. “Casper is a tremendous facility and what it needs now is just some TLC. IMCA Modifieds chase $2,000 checks on July 15-17 Gunslinger Tour

RAPID CITY, S.D. (July 12, 2022) – Friesen Performance IMCA Modified drivers take aim at $2,000 top prizes each night of the July 15-17 Gunslinger Tour.  Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility is also at stake Friday, July 15 at Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, S.D.; Saturday, July 16 at Gillette, Wy., Thunder Speedway; and Sunday, July 17 at Casper, Wy., Speedway. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Shaw Race Cars Western Region, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded each night and the top driver in overall Gunslinger points receives a championship revolver. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks are also on the card at Black Hills and Gillette. Information about race programs each night is available on Facebook or the track websites.
