Schaeffer’s Oil and IMCA partner to reward drivers across the nation

Schaeffers Specialized Lubricants

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – History-rich Schaeffer’s Specialized Lubricants makes new history this season with a three-year sponsorship agreement with IMCA.

Newly designated as Official Lubricant of IMCA, Schaeffer dives right in with product packages going to each of the 100-plus state champions to be crowned concluding 2021-2023 race seasons. Champions at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s and RaceSaver Nationals will also receive cases of racing oil, gear lube and Penetro lubricant.

“This gives the opportunity for a lot of different drivers to be rewarded and experience the product advantages,” said Schaeffer’s Central Director Will Dehne, noting that IMCA drivers/teams may also receive product awards at events attended by company representatives as well. “Racing has always been in our DNA and we’ve anxiously kept the door open to do something of this scale with IMCA. The goal is to help bring excitement to drivers and fans alike, attending IMCA events!”

“Schaeffer has several representatives who are or were racers in IMCA, and a couple of them suggested a program like this. Most IMCA tracks are located near one of our local reps, which will certainly promote on-site activation at the tracks with racers, promoters and track owners,” Dehne explained. “IMCA is a great organization that shares many core values with us. Both being the oldest and the best, this new relationship sets the foundation for many years of success together.”

Family-owned and managed for six generations, the synthetic oil, fuel additive and lubricants manufacturer has called St. Louis, Mo., home since its founding in 1839. Originally located where the south leg of the Gateway Arch now stands, Schaeffer got its start in the soap and candle-making business where byproducts of this process were used to make lubricating oil that kept the pioneers’ wagons rolling westward and steamboats traveling the Mississippi River.

Schaeffer’s brings over 180 years’ experience as the oldest lubricant manufacturer in North America. They are both the premier brand in today’s racing market and newest sponsor for IMCA, the oldest and biggest sanctioning body for automotive racing in the country.

“This program with IMCA kind of evolved organically, and we’re so glad it did,” said Dehne. “They are very well-run and believe like we do – family values, commitment to exceptional quality and down-home partnerships built on trust. We are proud to work with people like that.”

IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder echoed similar sentiment about the new partnership. “The program we’ve put together with Schaeffer has a little something for everyone. There are product rewards for IMCA racers across the country, which is an important element to strengthen winning a state championship,” commented Yoder. “There is also a fan component to the program, which will see Schaeffer representatives present at events throughout the summer, highlighted by their presence at the IMCA RaceSaver Nationals and the IMCA Super Nationals. We are proud to put a program like this together with Schaeffer and look forward to a long and robust relationship.”
