Velocita extends IMCA awards program through 2023

LEXINGTON, N.C. – IMCA’s top drivers are in line for custom fire suits courtesy of Velocita each of the next three seasons. 

The premium motorsports apparel manufacturer and 10-year IMCA sponsor has signed on to award a com­bination of fire suits and product certificates through 2023. 

“We are truly honored to be a part of the nation’s premier dirt sanctioning body.  Our relationship with IMCA has afforded us the opportunity to work with thousands of racers coast to coast through the sanction,” said Velocita President Brad Smith. “We are excited to be on board another three years and look forward to a bright and progressive future with IMCA.”

Velocita gives custom fire suits to IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Late Model, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod, Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod, Mach-1 Sport Compact and now IMCA STARS Mod Lite na­tional champions, as well as the Junior National Champion and Lady Eagle winner. 

Other drivers winning Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock regional titles receive $200 product certificates. 

Those awards will be presented at the IMCA national banquet this fall.

Event title sponsor Fast Shafts gives Velocita-made fire suits to all drivers starting the All-Star In­vitational dur­ing the IMCA Speed­way Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speed­way.

In addition, Velocita awards single layer fire suits to Late Model, Sport Compact and Mod Lite Super Nationals and RaceSaver Nationals champions, and to top non-qualifiers in the Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and Northern SportMods at Super Nationals.
