QA1 competitors in 5 IMCA divisions chase new awards

LAKEVILLE, Minn. – Drivers in five IMCA divisions competing with QA1 shocks this season earn shares of another $2,200 to be awarded by the Lakeville, Minn., high performance parts manufacturer.

Product certificates valued at $200 go to the highest finishing driver in each of the five IMCA Modified regions, both IMCA Sunoco Stock Car regions and both IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock regions, and in national Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod standings.

In addition to QA1 shock usage, drivers in all of those divisions are required to fill out and return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1 and display two QA1 decals on their race car to be eligible.

The 22-year IMCA sponsor renews the rest of a broad based awards program, giving $250 product certificates to national Modified, IMCA Sunoco Late Model, Stock Car, Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod and Southern SportMod champions.

One hundred and fifty dollar gift certificates are to be awarded to fifth place drivers and for $100 certificates to 10th place finishers in national standings for the same divisions. QA1 also awards a carbon fiber driveshaft to the Late Model national champion.

“There are a lot of loyal QA1 customers out there and we wanted to bring back an element of this program that rewards them in addition to others already targeted,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder commented. “QA1 will continue to strengthen their IMCA offerings as they are transitioning into a new state-of-the-art facility as well.”
