Bob Harris Enterprises expands IMCA program with Stock Car, Hobby Stock awards

AMES, Iowa – Awards for IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock drivers are new this season from Bob Harris Enterprises.

In its eighth season as an IMCA sponsor, the Ames, Iowa, company gives two free shock rebuilds to a top five finisher at each of 15 special events for the Stock Cars and at each of 10 special events for Hobby Stocks.

BHE again gives two free shock rebuilds to a top five finisher at 30 IMCA Modified specials and at 15 Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod specials.

A drawing will be held following the 2020 point season to award Race Tech Info Dirt Chassis School packages to one driver in the Modified, SportMod and now Stock Car and Hobby Stock divisions.

Certificates for shock rebuilds are mailed after special events results are received at the IMCA home office. Race Tech Info seminar certificates are mailed in December.

BHE owner Bob Harris has been associated with IMCA since the early days of the Modified division and also promotes the Harris Clash. The 29th annual Clash features IMCA Modifieds and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and will be held Aug. 4 at Deer Creek Speedway.

“With the re-launch of the RTI Knowledge Center, Bob Harris continues to stage fantastic chassis schools which now include a special offering for IMCA Stock Car and Hobby Stock drivers,” observed IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “It offers a great opportunity to expand the program and let drivers in those divisions benefit from the vast knowledge base already experienced by IMCA Modified and SportMod drivers.”
