MENA, Ark. – National rookies of the year in both IMCA Sunoco Late Model and IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car divisions get cylinder head sets again this season, courtesy of Brodix.
The highest finishing spec engine driver in national Late Model point standings receives the same award from the Mena, Ark., manufacturer and 24-year IMCA sponsor.
All three awards will be presented during IMCA’s national banquet in November. Drivers in both divisions are required to display two Brodix decals on their race cars.
“Brodix is excited to once again be a part of the IMCA community,” said Jennifer Woods. “It is always a pleasure to work with such an upstanding organization and a great group of racers”
National rookies of the year last season were Cory Dumpert of York, Neb., in the Late Models and Trey Burke of League City, Texas, in the Sprint Cars.
Information about Brodix cylinder heads and intake manifolds, as well as dealers, is available at the www.brodix.com website or by calling 479 394-1075.
“Brodix was instrumental in the longevity of the Deery Brothers Summer Series but a shifted focus this season hasn’t deterred them from their overall IMCA Late Model support,” commented IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “A balanced engine package last season has proven successful and we are excited to have the continued support of Brodix in recognizing spec engine accomplishments in 2020.”
