EngineQuest inks three-year pact, continues support of IMCA through 2022 race season

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – IMCA drivers in four divisions will benefit from the support of EngineQuest through the 2022 race season.

The Las Vegas, Nev., cylinder head and engine component manufacturer has renewed a contingency program that includes title sponsorship of both IMCA Sunoco Stock Car regions.

In addition, cash bonuses, and product certificate and product awards will be given to IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod competitors.

“A great partnership is the key to our sponsorship,” stated EQ National Account Manager Stephen Richards. “This program has benefitted many IMCA drivers over the years and we are proud to continue it.”

The new pact takes EQ through its 17th season of IMCA sponsorship.

EQ provides a portion of $3,750 point funds to be paid to top 10 drivers in Northern and Southern Stock Car regions for a sixth consecutive season.

Tracks in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region includes are located in eastern Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, Saskatchewan, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming. EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region tracks are in Arizona, Arkansas, California, western Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.

All drivers are required to display two EngineQuest decals on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares, which will be distributed during the national awards banquet in November or mailed from the IMCA home office beginning the following week. Sets of EQ cylinder heads will be awarded to the national Stock Car champion and to Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod and Southern SportMod drivers finishing highest in national standings who compete with EQ heads. Highest finishing Mopar engine drivers in the same divisions also earn sets of EQ cylinder heads.

Stock Car, Hobby Stock and SportMod drivers who win two or more track championships while competing with built engines earn $200 cash bonuses. Fifty dollar product certificates go to all eligible built engine-powered drivers in the same divisions winning track titles.
