CHINO HILLS, Calif. – Top rookie drivers in five divisions earn product awards from Swift Springs again in 2020.
The IMCA Modified, IMCA Late Model, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod national rookies of the year all receive sets of four springs from the Chino Hills, Calif., manufacturer.
The other four regional Modified rookies of the year each receive one spring.
“Swift Springs is please to be back for 2020 to support the IMCA programs. We believe that while racing is strong, we continually need to attract new racers,” said Swift Springs Motorsports Director Frank Simonetti. “Rookies of the year play a vital part of the future of our sport as well as rewarding the champions who have worked so hard to make it to the top. Swift Springs has been fortunate to see amazing growth the last few years with IMCA and winning numerous national championships and we look forward to an even brighter future together.”
The 2020 season will be Swift Springs’ fourth as an IMCA sponsor and awards will be presented during the national banquet in November, or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.
“A new season brings a new set of rookie drivers to IMCA racing and programs like the one we have with Swift only increases the anticipation,” observed IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “We have seen a real infusion of teenagers capturing rookie of the year awards the past few seasons and we are excited to see what the future holds for our up-and-coming drivers.”
