WEBSTER CITY, Iowa – Drivers in four IMCA divisions earn post-season contingency awards from Mitchell Machine for a 13th season.
The Webster City, Iowa, transmission manufacturer and machine shop again gives product certificates based on regional point standings for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, and on national point standings for Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods.
Top three eligible finishers in standings for both EQ Cylinder Heads Stock Car regions and both Big Daddy Race Cars regions for Hobby Stocks receive product certificates valued at $250, $100 and $100, respectively,
Product certificates in the same increments will be awarded to top three eligible drivers in national standings for the two SportMod divisions.
Drivers in all four divisions must compete with a Mitchell-manufactured transmission and provide proof of purchase made between Jan. 1 and Oct. 1, 2019, return a sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1 and display two Mitchell Machine decals on their race car.
Mitchell Machine awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.

“I don’t know when we put this program together that Ted Mitchell or I had the vision we’d extend it to a 13th season, but it has been consistent and effective and one our racers count on,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder stated. “Three divisions of IMCA racers will again benefit from their involvement in 2019.”
