SONOMA, Calif. – CPT Racing Manufacturing has renewed an awards program benefitting special events competitors in both the IMCA Modified and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod divisions.
A top five finisher at 45 designated specials earns a $50 gift certificate from CPT, to be mailed from the IMCA home office the week after race results are received.
The Sonoma, Calif., company is owned by veteran Modified driver Chris Compton and became an IMCA sponsor last year. The CPT product line includes birdcages and a wide variety of other dirt track specialty products, among them pullbars and polyurethane biscuits.
“We are excited to be a part of IMCA for another year. We have had great exposure with this program and I only see this becoming even better for us as we continue to partner with IMCA,” Compton said. “We have always had an open ear to our customers which has helped us develop new and innovative products.
“IMCA has allowed us to become exposed to many different cars and divisions which has helped us to continue to improve and create what the customers need,” he continued. “Our added Laser has also helped with engraving our parts and has taken them to the next level of excellence.”

“Based on the success of the program in its introductory year last year, we are thrilled to renew CPT’s sponsorship for the 2019 racing season,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “This is a great opportunity for IMCA Modified and SportMod racers to familiarize themselves with Chris and his team at CPT Manufacturing.”
