MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Performance Distributors adds awards for Late Models to its contingency program with IMCA this season.
The 2019 national champion and national rookie of the year both earn D.U.I. distributors while second through fifth place finishers in national point standings receive $50 product certificates.
Track champions are in line for D.U.I. coil kits courtesy of the Memphis, Tenn., high performance parts manufacturer.
Now in its 13th year as an IMCA sponsor, Performance Distributors has also renewed awards for IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod divisions.
Top eligible drivers in each of the two Stock Car regions and in both Hobby Stock regions, and in national standings for Northern SportMods and for Southern SportMods all receive D.U.I. distributors.
Runners-up in each division each get $100 product certificates, with $75 given for third, $50 for fourth and $25 for fifth.
In addition to required distributor usage, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and SportMod drivers must fill out and return a contingency sign-up sheet to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1.
Performance Distributor awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.

“Like we are in our office, Performance Distributors is also excited about the resurgence of the IMCA Late Model division and wanted to shift the focus of their awards to those drivers in 2019,” said Kevin Yoder, marketing director for IMCA. “We’ll have three times as many track champions this season as we did last year and growth like that is exciting.”
