Tire Demon inks IMCA awards pact through 2019

KELLEY, Iowa – Drivers in four IMCA divisions earn a wealth of awards from Tire Demon by Love Tap in the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

The Kelley, Iowa, manufacturer gives $500 certificates at 30 designated specials for IMCA Modifieds and at 15 designated specials for both IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and for Karl Chevrolet Northern and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods each year.

Certificates are good toward the purchase of a tire prep stand and will be mailed after official race results are received at the IMCA home office.

Tire Demon is owned by former SportMod driver Tim Love and gave its first award at the 2016 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

“This last year has been absolutely surreal for us and we continue to be blown away and humbled by all of the positive feedback expressed to us by race car drivers and their crew members once they get our machine into their racing program and see the results for themselves,” Love said. “Customer service is always of the utmost importance to us so we are currently in the process of building a brand new shop so we can get machines shipped out to our customers faster. We are excited to continue making 2018 the year of the Tire Demon.”

“Extending this agreement for another two years is something we intended when we inked the original agreement in 2016,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said. “Tim makes a tire prep product that IMCA racers have embraced and being able to present one to the Modified Super Nationals champion is awesome.”
